So on Tuesdays they have this special..... Tacos, nachos, beer or tequila.... $1 each! The tacos are good, the beer is cold and the tequila shots are tall! As per Calzada norm, the service is abysmal but.... Buy more tequila and roll with it :p

They have good food at a decant price with craft beer. Many options to choose from with vegetarian options as well. I was very happy with the food and the service there. I have been there 4times in the last couple of weeks.

Visited Nectar last night as part of a group of 10. A table had been booked in the garden setting. Our drink and food order were taken in a timely and efficient manner. I had ordered the stir fry vegetables with a side of chicken. The meal was delicious, the vegetables were cooked perfectly (just what I needed). Hubby had... More

Happy hour cocktails drew us in to this place and a good review from the lonely planet book. The mojitos were quite flavourless and had shredded mint which is a no, no. The traditional cocktail wasn't much better either. I hope this flavour skimping was just down to happy hour??! On the plus, lovely courtyard which is typical of Granada.

We had a great meal here - lots to choose from! They have an English menu which is super helpful. The food is good quality and the service was great. We tried to eat here again but unfortunately they were closed at that time - I think it was a Sunday.

Churrasco and chimichurri are the popular steaks in Nicaragua. The steak size in Nectus was ok but the meat was overdone. Expensive. Calzada street is full of good restaurants but only a few are listed in Tripadvisor ?

We stopped by for dinner one night. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious! We had steak quesadillas, fish tacos and the grilled chicken with jalapeños. The portions were the perfect size and delicious. The coconut flan for dessert was creamy, with just the right amount of coconut flavor. I would say my only issue was that since... More

Excellent service with friendly waiters. Very good food at a reasonable price. I loved the yuca chips, fish tacos, and garlic fish. We had lunch, dinner, and drinks in the lovely courtyard garden. It was quiet and cool with the breeze from the doorways. We are also beer aficionados and enjoyed the Belgian style saison called Campo. Delicious! It is... More

We were drawn in by the specials - Taco Tuesday and 2-1 cocktails with free yucca chips. Taco Tuesday was a big win $1 Tacos and beers. They advertise the best fish tacos in town - I haven't had any others in town but I wasn't a fan. However the steak, chicken and vegetarian were delicious! The next day before... More

Very good service, great looking menu, tasty food and OK environment. We only had the fish tacos and they were accompanied by rice, a small salad and beans (in a bowl,). It was a tasty, filling meal. The sangria was definitely on the top of the best for Central America. A good level of alcohol and flavourful.

Description
Nectar Restaurant & Bar is located on Calle La Calzada, a pedestrian-friendly street in the heart of Granada's historic colonial downtown. Located only 1/2 block East (towards the Lake) of Parque Central & the main Cathedral, our street-side dining offers up the best people watching around while our beautiful covered courtyard provides some peaceful respite from Granada's hustle and bustle. We've got you covered for whatever mood your in. We delight in offering a menu featuring some traditional Nicaraguan fare (Enchiladas, Tostones con Queso, Ropa Vieja and more), wonderful organic salads, tasty ceviche, fish tacos, burritos & homemade desserts, including Cheesecake, Flan de Coco and our world famous Lava Cake. ALL of our rum cocktails are made with Nicaraguan Flor de Cana rum, never the cheap stuff. We also offer up some local Craft Beer, made available by our friends at La Portena in San Juan Del Sur as well as Campo Brew Co. out of Tola. We source all our products locally and shop daily to ensure we have the freshest of the fresh. And perhaps most importantly, our staff is the real thing-- warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Hard-working Nicaraguan hospitality at its very best! Be sure to check out our 2x1 Happy Hour from 3-6 Daily or stop by and enjoy our below zero beer. Perfect for those hot Granada days!
