Very good Thai food with some inventive recipes. Can get a bit crowded in the evening - some people come to this part of the island specifically to dine here.

Had dinner here over Christmas couple of times, and were always very delicious. Staff is nice, speaks English and you get served relatively fast compared to other places.

In the beginning of January the island of koh chang is busy take note. We arrived just in time before the rush and luckily didn't have to wait for a table. We ordered coconut soup, red curry, pad Thai, spring rolls and steamed all washed down with 3 bottles of chang beer each. After a little wait the food came... More

This place is great for good Thai food at an amazingly cheap price! The portions are really big. My husband and I shared a chicken fried rice, chicken and cashew nut and a massaman curry. I've experienced a lot of Thai food, and although the flavours were not a match to what I have eaten before, the food was still... More

We went a few times for breakfast and once for dinner. Breakfast was OK, coffee good. The dinner was a disappointing experience, even though we ordered Thai food, Thai style it had nothing to do with Thai food. We had much better food at a small Thai place down the road for half the price.

We try and eat at different places when we're away, yet ended up eating at Tamarin two nights out of our three nights stay at Bailan because it was frankly the best Thai food we found during our two week Thailand trip. Just to manage expectations, I’m not saying it's some new amazing taste sensation. It's just good quality Thai... More

This little place serves expertly crafted and cooked Thai food. The French owner, his lovely Thai wife and the lady cook are deserving of high praise for the quality of food they serve and the prices they charge. Value, style and true hospitality, right on the main road in Bailan Bay. We ate there most days and loved every meal.... More

The Thai food there was good although in a foreigner tourist area. Which is not always easy. I was very surprised that the tomatoes in the tom yum soup seems very fresh and tasty, although after living in Thailand for 3 years I seldom see such fresh ingredients. The service is quiet good the staff offer you a local "caramel"... More
