If you want to try real Thai seafood, you need to try this place. Unfortunately they don't understand English well but their garlic prawns were really awesome. :)

This is where the locals go, an ordinary Thai restaurant with excellent fresh sea food at OK prices, nothing special but you must go early 7ish as they close about 9 !

I had Tom yam gung, crab legs, scallops with garlic and morning glory. The seafood was all great the morning glory was not so good. However the food was just placed or shall I say almost thrown on the table. No smile no sound. No enjoy your meal. And it looks like none of the service people were thai. The... More

This place is packed by 7pm so go early. Excellent fresh seafood at a very fair price. No air con but it doesn't matter.

This is an authentic Thai sea food restaurant, catering to 95% Thais. Great sea food, very decent prices, loads of choices. We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive.

5 of us arrived at 7pm to a restaurant which was 60% full. First waitress was, to put it bluntly, rude. Second tried to take away our menus and then wouldn't take our order. The third was nice. The first plate took 30 minutes to arrive. The second took 45. The other 2 came quickly after that. Food tasted nice,... More

Went solo for dinner. Chose BBQ as usual with king prawns, shrimps and quite a large squid. Squid overdone and chewy, king prawns undercooked and shrimps, well, tasteless. It wasn't exactly dog chow, but it was average at best. Maybe got tourist trapped, since I have a feeling I also overpaid for my dish. Expected more from this one. Nong... More

Don't judge about this place on how it looks. Best seafood on this island is here. We tested couple of expensive restaurants here but none of them is close to this one.

Thanks to Ian from Iamkohchang website we found this gem of a place only 800m from out resort, but which we'd never have visited if it hadn't been for the good review and pointers. The atmosphere is not romantic being by the bank of a mossie laden river and a noisy busy road, but it's worth it for the delicious... More

This place is always busy with Thai people from the mainland, a good sign! Thai people living on KC however were not so impressed when I asked them about it, so I decided to check it out myself. Service was fine, menu looks great (pictures taken from internet?) but my dish (fish fillet in green curry) was average at best.
