Our experience in just one sentence “made in Italy”!
Marco pizzeria/ristorante gives us two amazing Italian dinners. We went there once and the night after we cannot resist to come back.
The owner, Marco, is very nice and makes you feel at home: from the food to the atmosphere!
The first night, we choose from the menu: seafood spaghetti rich of seafood and al dente pasta, juicy and tender beef carpaccio and a tasty prosciutto and gorgonzola pizza... Of course, to finish, the tiramisu! The second night he kindly advised us the specials: a creamy and fresh burrata, just got it from the morning and the outstanding home made gnocchi with 4 cheese sauce. To finish, Limoncello!!!
Definitely highly recommended even if you are not Italian as the food is genuine, including dessert and digestivi!!!

I've now sampled every Italian restaurant on the island. I love Ciao for its pastas and incredible bread but Marco is, in my opinion, the go-to place for pizza.
I'm a devotee of authentic Neopolitan pizza and that's what Marco serves, with ingredients imported from Italy and a proper pizza oven (unlike at my 5-star Bangkok hotel, where I quarantined in December).
I've tried a number of different pizzas here over the past few years and have delighted in each. The consistency is top notch. I had a great spaghetti carbonara here too, and very much enjoyed the panna cotta.
The service ia good and Marco's passion for cooking is very evident: he always comes out to ask me how I liked the meal.

We had pizza, seafood pasta and tiramisu. All the food was wonderful! Tiramisu is to die for - one of the best in my life. The owner supervised all the cooking and serving process and made us very comfortable in his place. And in the end treated us with limoncello and ice-cream for our daughter. If you would like some quality Italian food - head here!

Excellent food and great WiFi!
Every dish tastes amazing and you can taste the quality ingredients. We tried everything from pasta to pizza and only had good experiences. The WiFi is one of the fastest we have had on the island, but the best part is the nice and wholesome greeting from Marco.

We had the Bruschetta with truffels as a starter and then Tagliatelle Bolognese and the Pizza Vegetariana. We can honestly say that this was some of the best italian food (or food in general for that matter) that we ever had, including in Italy - and the service was perfect, too.
On the downside, this quality has a (justified) price. Bringing in ingredients from Europe is quite expansive, so expect to pay prices closer to an average european level than to a Thai one.
If you want to treat yourself, go to Marco.

My partner and I went here mostly because it was across the street, but we were pleasantly surprised when we got genuine Italian food by an Italian chef. Both the pizza and lasagne (todays special) we had were delicious.
The price is comparable to most other (touristy) places we have been to on the island, which is absolutely reasonable since the food is so great.
It was truly just as good as restaurants that we visited in Italy.
If you are on the island and in the mood for italian food it’s absolutely worth the trip!

We came here for pizza on our 1st night in Koh Chang and thought that it was alright. Pizzas are not a bad size and tasty enough, service was ok and the restaurant is alright.
All that said, we've since had bigger pizzas elsewhere, which were as equally as tasty but cost about 100bt less.
So, although this does do pizzas they are expensive

Dining at Chef Marco's restaurant is always an exceptional experience. The food is consistently excellent, showcasing Chef Marco's culinary expertise and passion for high-quality ingredients.
One of my absolute favorites is the carpaccio, which is always perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The Spaghetti Seafood, or fruit de mare, is another standout dish that I can't get enough of. The combination of seafood and perfectly cooked pasta is simply divine.
Moreover, the service here is always excellent. The staff is attentive, friendly, and goes out of their way to ensure a delightful dining experience.
I want to share my experience from last November 2023, which was my first time dining here. The restaurant was bustling with people, and I was fortunate to get a table inside. However, I preferred to sit outside because there was a large group inside,
I asked the lady, Khun Pom, if a table outside was available, and she kindly agreed to arrange it for me.
As I was preparing to move, a foreign couple quickly took the outside table. Khun Pom informed them that the table was already taken, but they didn't care and insisted on sitting there. I went back to Khun Pom to inform her about the situation. She promptly came over to address it. Despite the couple saying bad words to her, she handled the situation gracefully and asked them to leave.
That incident left a lasting impression on me. Khun Pom's professionalism and dedication to ensuring my dining experience was enjoyable truly stood out. Chef Marco's restaurant not only excels in food but also in outstanding service, making it a must-visit for anyone who appreciates top-notch dining experiences.

A great homemade meal. We were a group of 8, making reservations earlier in the day.
The appetizers were fabulous (best garlic bread I've ever had), the mains were sizable and tasty, and the Gelato was excellent. All home made. Prices were reasonable for beach life. Definitely will come back.

If you’re visiting Koh Chang, Marco’s restaurant is an absolute must-try! We discovered it just two days before our flight home while searching for top-rated spots on Google—and what a find it was.
We dined there for the first time yesterday and were blown away by the incredible flavors. We started with the Carpaccio di Manzo e Parmigiano, and it was so delicious—tender and melt-in-your-mouth—that we had to order a second round. For our mains, we chose the Pizza Gorgonzola e Prosciutto Crudo di Parma and the Pizza Nduja (the chef’s special recommendation). Both were nothing short of extraordinary.
The flavors were so outstanding that we couldn’t resist returning the next day. This time, we began with Bruschetta with Burrata Cheese, followed by the Pizza Diavola with spicy salami and the Ravioli stuffed with meat and topped with truffle sauce. Every dish was a masterpiece! Unfortunately, we were too full to try dessert, but I’m sure it would have been just as fantastic.
Marco’s restaurant truly offers an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Chang—you won’t regret it! 😅❤️

Great pasta in this small nice restaurant, both ravioli and seafood spaghetti were excellent.
We also took a very nice buffalo mozzarella and Parma ham.

Went for a family meal for our wedding anniversary, second time we have been. Welcomed by Marco himself and all staff were helpful and friendly.
Food was amazing, authentic Italian, fresh and delicious.
Not cheap but well worth it for a treat or special occasion.
Would definitely recommend and will visit again
