This was our first time here, after many recommendations. However, we got there 1 1/2 hours before closing, on a Friday night. They were out of brisket, I got the last of the pulled pork that was cold and the pulled chicken was very dry....The flavors were good, and because I know restaurants are having a hard time dealing the Covid and how busy they are going to be, we will give it another try. Service was great and everything was clean! Prices were great as well!More

This BBQ restaurant is outstanding. During our family reunion at nearby Hungry Mother State Park we placed a to-go order for roughly thirty people. Jill Wolfe and her staff handled it perfectly. The food was terrific, the packaging spot on, and the price was more...than fair. We recommend Wolfe’s BBQ highly, and will be back again with a larger order in a non-pandemic reunion year. Five stars, well earned.More

The fries were good. The chicken wrap was good, but very, very messy. My hushpuppies were cold in the middle. The ranch dressing that was brought on request, was pre-packaged.. nasty tasting fake ranch. My husband's brisket sandwich was good.

Wolfe's BBQ came recommended by a local so I was eager to try the BBQ. Unfortunately, I did arrive there until 730-8pm and was informed by the waitress that they were out of brisket & pulled pork. The only meat left was pulled chicken. I...was not enthused but ordered the house salad with the shredded chicken. I was given a very generous serving of chicken on the salad, which was very good. I had a piece of key lime pie for desert which was also very good. I would eat again but would get here earlier!More

We ordered takeout while visiting Hungry Mother State Park. It was good (the sauce was delicious!) but I thought it was pricey for the amount of food that I received. The hush puppies are delicious as well, but you only get 3 small ones with...your meal.More

I’m glad we left the interstate for this place! Environment is great, modern and updated. It’s better than average bbq spots. Great variety of sauces. The ribs and pulled pork were perfect in my opinion. I wish I lived near here!

Great location if you are going the the Lincoln Theatre for a show - right across the street! Good selection of BBQ options - what we had was very good. Treated to Bluegrass Band while we ate.

Excellent food and and fun atmosphere as there was live music the Saturday pm that we visited. Both of us had the half rack ribs with cole slaw and warm apples. The ribs are gluten free without sauce. (Our server said sauces were also GF...but I didn’t try.) Service was terrific. We’ll definitely return.More

Traveling through the area to experience different parts of Virginia and as we walked through town we could smell the BBQ! Had to stop and have lunch. The restaurant was not to busy so we were promptly seated. We placed our drink order and asked...about a good appetizer and the waitress suggested the fried pickles. They were very good! We took some time to look through the menu as it was our first time. There are many items on the menu that look good. Two of us had pulled pork and the other pulled pork and ribs. The ribs were very good, highly recommend those. The sides we chose were fried okra, good, and the coleslaw, fair. I tried the corn bread and was very pleased that it was cake like and not gritty like traditional cornbread. A very good meal, I would go back again!More
