Time for lunch so we stopped at Bonnie’s Country Kitchen in Lovettsville, VA. It seems to be a favorite of locals as the waitress called many of the diners by their first names. The food was average diner food. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and have a daily special on a white board. The diner has been in business... More

Went for lunch during the week. Had the special which was ok but , seemed like it was a warm up. Had a hamburger that the bun was not fresh, dried out. The fries were too done, crunchy. It used to be better when Bonnie was there all the time .

This is just a hole in the wall place that the locals appeear to frequent. Red and white checked table cloths in a very informal setting. An extensive menu at very reasonable prices. We had the crab cakes and they were great! I am from Baltimore and now live in Virginia. It is extremely difficult for me to find a... More

Lovettsville is a small town that is just starting to be overcome by the suburn sprawl of new homes and buisneses. But Bonnie's Country Kitchen has been around since the beginning. It's simplicity is what keeps you coming back: simple building, simple plenty kind of home cooking that has good prices. Bonnie's has table service and takeout. My favorite is... More

The seating is tight, and very personal. Easy to hear others conversations. The smell of the building unsettled my stomach a bit and made it hard to eat once I got my food. I ordered fries with gravy and didn't realize it would be thick, jiggly, beef gravy so I didn't eat them. They smelled awful. I got a Club... More

Yes, the hours are a little idd, however the food is good, the menu is diverse, and the atmosphere is hometown friendly. The fried chicken is absolutely delicious.

This was a nice place to eat while we were camping. The food was good, the price were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. Well worth going to this restaurant.

Our first time here. The restaurant was very busy on Sunday morning. We walked in and stood there for 5 minutes. No one said HI...BYE...or even acknowledged our existence. I get that your busy but can someone at least say we will be with you in a minute! We decided to wait over by the busing station so we were... More

The most outstanding thing about this place is the staff. You don't go for the food, you go for the down home atmosphere. The staff is nice, and the food, albeit, generic, is served hot.

Patronized mostly by locals, this is a good place to grab a nice traditional breakfast or have burgers or "blue plate special" lunches with friends. The staff is friendly, food is prompt and well prepared. Keep your ears open for some local gossip!
