While staying at the Tides resort this became our breakfast spot each AM. Nice casual atmosphere with good coffee and food.

They have a limited breakfast, some pre-made like yogurt & fruit. The lunch menu doesn't change and is not stellar. They are limited in changes they are willing to make. The sandwiches taste like they have grocery store packaged meat in them. Carwash cafe in...More
The spot is really cute and in a nice strip of town, great for walking around. My barista must have been new, because she wasn't very confident in making the latte I requested, but it was actually quite good.
The Local is ALWAYS our first stop when visiting the area. Great food, freshly prepared and definitely great coffee! The staff is awesome and very friendly. GREAT location with outside seating, as well.

Wonderful coffee shop to ride your bike or walk from The Tides Inn to. Delicious treats to enjoy either inside or out on their patio.

The Local is a great place for a cuppa Joe, a nosh & reading the morning paper. You can also enjoy their ice cream in one of the few places in the area to grab a cone!
