You haven't been to a Cracker Barrel? This is the regular offer, with a store out front and a down-home menu. It's very popular, and can be crowded. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. There are a few items to avoid (liver is one), but you can count on most things being good. Not great, but good. Reasonable prices.

Stopped here for dinner as it was right next to the hotel we were staying at. Have to say always a decent meal at a good price.

After a long tiring day on the road, stopping only for fast food, it is always great to eat at a Cracker Barrel. This particular site did not disappoint. Despite being a very busy Friday night, we were quickly shown to a good table and were promptly served. Everything we ordered was available; the quality off the food was excellent;... More

I have eaten here many times for breakfast and dinner. Food has always been consistently good. Service tends to be more inconsistent than food quality. I really like the green beans, hash brown casserole, grilled sourdough bread, and "chicken fried chicken".

This is very much like every Cracker Barrel. But, we know when we stop at one of these places, it will be reliable. And this one was as good as any other we have been to. The staff is always great.......very pleasant and welcoming. Our waitress announced it was her first day and she did a great job serving us.... More

After a day of traveling and hiking, we wanted comfort food. We got it! Hubby got the grilled chicken salad and I got the fried shrimp. Warm biscuits and cornbread rounded out the plenty-to-eat meal.

I love Cracker Barrel, but this one was my least favorite so far, and I have been to several. The soup was lukewarm, as was the meatloaf. I have never had this happen at a Cracker Barrel so was disappointed. The one bright spot was our waiter Michael - he was wonderful and gracious !

Great dinner with family... Got tea, a little weak. But everything else good. Great visit with family.

After seeing a bunch of Virginia Tech stuff in the Cracker Barrel in Roanoke I had hoped for some JMU apparel in Harrisonburg. Was very disappointed to find only a few JMU things and a whole bunch of VT.

Southern comfort foods are on the menu as well as classic American fare. After your meal, spend a little time in the gift shop for cute souvenirs. Prices are fair and they have so many interesting things: CDs, ceramics, holiday decorations, inspirational gifts, baby things, toys, old fashioned candy as well as local products.

Thank Cliff and Patri... M
