I love Indian food and eat a lot of it. Taste of India just goes above and beyond in everything they make. We usually share several vegetarian entrees and different types of naan. I have never had anything I didn't love!

We love Indian food, and figured that a university town would have some good choices. We were not disappointed in Taste of India. We had chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi and veg patia (vegs in mango sauce). Basmati rice and naan completed A very satisfactory meal.

Best mango lassi, tandoori salmon and tandoori lamb anywhere! Rich complex flavors in sauces. Perfect naan with crispy spots but steamy and soft inside. Lovely artwork. Attentive staff. Reasonable prices. What's not to like!

I have been to 40+ countries and have never had better Indian food. Great variety on the menu and everything I have tried has been top notch. Don't leave without trying the Indian ice cream. The service is attentive, helpful and prompt.

What a find! My husband and I both got lamb dishes, as well as garlic naan. We ordered a spice level of 3 out of 5, which was just right for us -- a good enough kick. Can't wait to go back!

After having Indian food in our corporate cafeteria for years, I am a little jaded. While the plain naan was very good, we also ordered the basil naan. It seem to have had basil just sprinkled on top and was cooked a little longer. This made it drier. We split the butter chicken special. Unfortunately, we are used to all... More

We visited the restaurant on our trip to Luray and I cannot thanks the owner and staff any less. We called up about 30 min before the closing time and understanding that we have kids with us, the Lady Owner was accommodating to allow us stop by. She even offered to take order on phone so that the food is... More

My family and I have eaten here and ordered out several times. We have never had a bad meal. We have always enjoyed the various naan appetizers, definitely worth getting. This time we got shrimp tandoori and chicken korma. The meals, as usual, were excellent. If you want Indian food in Harrisonburg, this is your place.

My husband and I were passing through Harrisonburg, VA and decided to stop for some Indian cuisine for lunch. We arrived at 12:45, thinking that most of the lunch crowd would be gone, but the place was pretty full. As time went on, more and more patrons arrived, making the buffet line pretty long. It was worth the wait. The... More
