Wanting to try someplace new on one of our regular jaunts from Berryville VA to Stanley, wwe ventured out on a cold winter's night and found a local gem. The physical setting in inviting and beautifully appointed, with a tiny bar, high-table dining near the street, and comfortable booths and tables. My wife and I had a delightful chat with... More

A group of 9 of us had dinner there last night and it was superb. Paul, the Chef, and Tracy go out of their way to make sure all is great. The Duck, filet mignonette, chicken sandwich and French dip all wonderful. You must try the smoked tomato bisque, asparagus/mushroom soup. You must call ahead to make reservations but it... More

We stopped into this little restaurant and it had to be one of the best meals we've ever had. The menu is somewhat limited, but what they do, they do extremely well. My wife's filet was fantastic. I had the shrimp quesadilla that was unbelievable. I also had a wonderful tomato bisque with small cheese sandwich that was made by... More

We stumbled upon this place on a visit to Front Royal. All the locals recommended it so we had to give it a try. The salmon was perfect and my wife's filet was amazing. Small and intimate, I would recommend reservations, but it is so worth it. Love this place!

Four of us visited a nearby winery and decided to stay in the area for dinner. We opted for Wine and Duck based on TripAdvisor and Yelp reviews. The entrance to the restaurant was somewhat blocked by a flow of water coming down from an air conditioner vent. That was uh-oh number one. At that point, we considered trying someplace... More

A good friend insisted my sister and I try this restaurant. Glad we did. Everything - simply perfect. Such hospitable people with super-delicious food. (And wine!) A true hidden treasure in the town.

Recommended by our b&b hosts, we visited Wine and Duck for a nice quiet dinner during our recent stay in Front Royal. My husband ordered wine and the duck entree (lol) and enjoyed them very much. Since I knew I was going to indulge in dessert, I opted for a simple salad and cup of wild mushroom soup, and both... More
