Macado's is nothing fancy. Just good food and my regular Tuesday takeout fare. Yes, it is part of a small chain usually found in smaller towns but the menu is good (sandwich menu is huge) and the bartenders friendly. Service is often slower than normal due to relying on student help but if you have time give it a try.

It's ok the foods not bad but the restaurant I don't find to be very friendly I've tried them twice and felt the same way both times.

This seemed like a good place to grab a bite to eat before heading home. The menu has lots of choices. if you love sandwiches you will not be disappointed. The food was only just OK. Ive eaten at way worse places. Service was fine. Prices were ok too. Wish I could say something more about the place.

Nice fun place, usually pretty busy and great menu. Great for lunch or dinner and something for everyone on their menu. Service was great as was the food. A usual stop if were staying in Farmville.

Good family stop. Huge sandwich menu, with some interesting touches (chips added on top of my pendleton). Good size portions, just solid lunch like the other locations. Cool outdoor tiki option on a nice day.

Great place to stop by in Farmville. Plenty of different sandwiches for the family to choose from and the portions were big enough to share! Went here after Sandy River Retreat and worked up an appetite that was fufilled.

We have been to several Macado's in Virginia, so it was a resounding yes when this was suggested for supper. We all got something different, Taco Salad, chinese chix wrap, and a roast beef sandwich. The food was good, I also ordered the specialty "chips" and was disappointed, they didn't have much flavour...would be great to add some seasoning of... More

Same as found in Blacksburg and Radford. Too many sandwiches to name. All good. Variety of bread types - rolls, bread, bagels, croissants. I really like the reuben club selections. Warning - best to split two different sandwiches so you can have two tastes - one of these is huge and a chore to finish. But pastrami paired with a... More

We happened to come to Farmville for a doctors appointment. As soon as it was over we asked for a recommendation of where to eat. Course I forgot about Macados. We went there sat outside to eat. They have the best fries ever!!! My daughter got the pretzel dog and loved it. The broccoli and cheese soup was excellent. The... More

The food was good, the service was good, but the temperature was freezing and it was raining and I froze sitting in the tented area where they had space for our large group!
