We first started visiting the Bellair Market when our son was at UVA. Over 20 years later it is still one of our favorite places in C'ville. Our favorite sandwich is the Jefferson. That, a bag of chips, and something to drink and you are good to go for the picnic spot of your choice. We live 100 miles away... More

We were visiting Charlottesville during fall's leaf-changing season. As a result, this deli/food market was super busy, but the sandwich-making line moved quickly, and my sandwich was awesome! We stopped here because of its location to nearby Charlottesville wineries. It's a great place to pick up everything you need for a picnic.

The place for great sandwiches while in Charlottesville. Gourmet sandwiches in a gas station? Why not!! Haven't been here in a few years, but I was in town visiting for a few days and got lunch here twice!! Long list of specialty sandwiches sure to meet everyone's craving. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. Sandwiches made on the spot... More

Great deli food and market. Always busy but the wait, though usually not too long, is worth it. A favorite for locals in the know.

We always get the Ednam on a wrap and some salads that become our weekend picnic at one of the vineyards. The people are really great and so is the food. The one time we had a problem with the wrap (a new server) the manager promptly made it right. We love this place and the wonderful afternoon that it... More

I have grown up eating lunches from Bellair Market! My favorite (these days) is the Yogaville but I swap one of the cheeses for smoked turkey and no tomatoes. The sandwiches have fresh meat and bread and never disappoint! I sometimes get one of those big pickles and a bag of Sun Chips. Hard to break a habit. The sandwich... More

Mouth-watering, unique, delicious and satisfying! An eclectic "deli" best for take-out~ seating is sparse. Grab your drinks, chips and a sweet treat, then head to polo, a picnic, or your patio at home! Look at the website & call to place your sandwich order ahead of arrival... it will save you a TON of time!

Bellair Market has some of the best sandwiches in town. Order one of their specials like the Farmington, the Birdwood, or my favorite, the Belmont. They use Boars Head meats and the breads are fresh and tasty. While you are waiting for your sandwich, check out the deli takeout selection of salads, entrees and desserts. There is even a Mudhouse... More
