I like to visit The Virginian whenever I visit Charlottesville. The food is good home style cooking at a reasonable price. The bar is also well stocked with plenty of different options. Personally I like the ribs!!

This is an old place....open since the 1920's. Like really old, not refabbed, hip old. Mostly booths and a bar in the back. Service was good and overall food was ok, not fantastic, except for the BBQ pork nachos. Those I'd highly recommend.
