We stopped in because we didn't know the area and just happened to see this place. But were so glad we did. The guys there are the best. They were so kind and friendly. It was as if we had known them forever. The food...was very good and made fresh. I will be back next time I'm in that area. I just want to say thanks again guys for your kindness.More

This restaurant used to make their own bread for their subs and combos and it was really good. Now they use store bought bread and it is just an average sub or combo. But they do have really good homemade fries.

Since my facebook review was deleted and the review section turned off, I'll leave my full review here where it can't be hidden. My family and o have been customers at Romanos for 20 years. Never had any problems until after the place was renovated...due to a storm and the owner left to open the new place in Norton. The people left to run the place hate their jobs and they have no qualms about showing it. They are rude and make customers feel like a burden. The first time we were spoken rudely to we didn't get any ketchup for our fries. We asked for it and were very rudely told "you'll have to come get it yourself because I'm busy". We didn't go back for a long time. After quite some time we did return. We usually got our food to go because as usual we were met with either rudeness or non stop talking about ridiculous things or how tired or sick they were. The absolute last straw was a few weeks ago a group of us stopped there before 9 to eat dinner. I asked if we could use the tables In the back room because there were more people coming and we'd like to sit together. We got a stern face and response of "Just for your information the fryer turns off at 9, AND at 10 we're walking out that door and y'all will be sitting here in the dark by yourselves". We sat in the back and our food started coming out. A pizza was brought to the table and as normally happens, it took a moment to decide who it belonged to. Another rude comment from the employee...."Make up your minds because this is hot." I actually cleaned off the entire table and carried it all to the kitchen, because I'm a nice person like that... i got a half hearted "thanks" mumbled under his breath. I wrote a review on facebook, and shortly after one of the owners sent me a PRIVATE message telling me they were sorry and my next meal was free.Sorry but no thanks.... they'd probably spit in it. Now the review is gone and the option to leave a review is no longer there. My money will be spent at MILANOS....a real Italian restaurant who treats their costumers with gratitude and respect.More

Pizza made from scratch, sauce was really good, sausage wasn't spicy at all. Onion rings are frozen not fresh but still very good. Staff was funny and wonderful. Plenty of seating and handicap accessible. Definantly will eat here again.

Romano's does a good job with their pizza and subs, making the dough in-house every day. Their pizza is sometimes under-cooked so remind them to cook it "well done"s :) They use the same dough for pizza's, burgers and subs and I personally think it...is pretty good. One of the local favorites is the chick-o-filly. It's loaded with chicken, bacon, grilled onions, all chopped finely, topped with melted cheese and a peppercorn ranch. OHhhhhh - it is tasty but definitely a diet buster. The pasta on the other-hand is not good at all. Sauce tastes right out of the can - kind of "tinny" and bland and loaded with greasy cheese. I don't recommend it at all. We typically get the food to go as do most customers as the atmosphere is lacking, decor is absent, and they sometimes don't bus surrounding tables. We once ate dinner there with three dirty tables from beginning to end of our visit.... yuk! Get a pizza, sub or huge burger to go....More

Food was fair, at best. Pizza crust tough and tasteless. A friend got the lasagna and said it was okay.

This can be a very good place to eat, it really just depends on the day. Great Italian food, sandwiches, and salads. Known for their ranch dressing, its homemade and good on everything. Great burgers, breadsticks, grilled chicken salads, and chickophillys.
