Unless it is really pouring, don't let the rain stop you the walkways are generally not slick and there are handrails wherever they are needed. The walk to natural Bridge follows the river. Go ahead and take the rest of the walk to the Native American village. When we were there there were interpreters providing stories and information which was... More

We had a late lunch there and ordered hamburgers. They were really tasty and tender. Their chili was very good, too. Spiced just right for me... not too much heat. Would definitely eat there again. Great 50's atmosphere throughout the store. Take a ride to Buchanan and wear your saddle oxfords.

The service is extremely poor, the wait staff prefer to stand at the counter and talk, and their personal appearance is bad. Staff with long hair that is not tied up preparing and serving food. If you try to discuss your poor service with the manager/owner you'll find she is totally disinterested and rude.

Keep in mind that this is a SMALL town! No professional wait staff or chefs! What you get is good, basic, fresh food at great prices served with the smile of small town USA. Stick with basics and you'll be happy. Yes, they make milk shakes the old fashioned way!

Everything was great: burger, sweet potato fries, sweet tea and of course the milkshake. Unfortunately the sodda mechanism was broken. I would have like a ice cream float.

We ate lunch at this place. The décor was interesting, put the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the fish special and it was a small piece of frozen breaded fish on a bun with French fries. The service was great, but not the food. I would skip this place.

Perhaps it's the "For Sale" sign on the outside, but I got the feeling this place was running on empty. It's still cute and nostalgic but seems a little sad. Food was good, but since it is an old time soda fountain also ordered an ice cream and the ice cream was not very good.

We live in a nearby town and had heard about this quaint old fashion soda fountain drugstore. The setting is basically an older, nondescript store. Nothing bad, but also nothing special. I suggest heading to Lexington for more character. We got the last two seats and ordered lunch. Waitress seemed nice, though rushed. We waited, and waited, and waited. We... More

Like to stop by here and eat and get old thick milk shake, and it takes a while to get that extra thick shake down. Good sandwiches and this place still looks like it did in the 1950's. A return to home!
