First time here. Impressive and delicious! The fajitas were superior to any I've ever eaten, very authentic Mexican. Seated quickly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and upscale atmosphere. We'll be going back, hopefully soon!

Every October we drive south through the mountains of VA and WV to see the fall colors. Our route is about the same each year and we tend to go to the same restaurants. With great expectations, we turned off the thruway and headed up...the hill to the strip mall where the Mexican restaurant Los Arcos was located but it was closed! Our hearts and mouths were set on Mexican. We continued up the hill and there to the right in another strip mall was Puerto Nuevo. What luck. We hurried in and were not disappointed. It felt like Mexico inside. The service was fast and the wait staff was friendly. They kept the chips and salsa coming. There was a big screen TV. We both opted for the Pollo Loco which was delicious and came with all the sides-salad, guacamole, beans, and rice. The portions were huge. What a good meal. So glad we continued up the hill. The experience is as close to authentic Mexican dining as you can get in our region. Excellent variety of food and flavor. The prices, food and service are exceptional. We've never been disappointed.

After a long day of travel, my son and I stopped here for dinner before bedding down for the night. The margarita was just what I needed! The customary chips and salsa were accompanied by a house bean dip. The chips were perfect, light ,...warm and plentiful. I had the California burrito. It was huge! It was also very good. Service was friendly and prices were very reasonable. Would visit again.More

One of the best Mexican Restaurants in the area! Love everything I have eaten here. All fresh food! Seafood is great as well! Has a great selection of salsa's, and the chips/salsa are free with your meal! They will make guacamole dip fresh at your...table if you order it! Lots of great combo meals!!! We stop in for an unplanned supper. Seated quickly and drinks served. I had the three taco platter ( beef, chicken,pork) large portions. Great flavors, I loved the cactus salad . We will definitely return.

We have always had very good food here. The service is also good. The prices are excellent. We eat at Puerto Nuevo whenever we can.
