Stopped by here for breakfast and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Fresh homemade wheat bread was delicious as was the homemade hash omelette. We my wife's Vermont apple pancakes were also delicious. Our waitress/cook was great and we enjoyed some friendly banter with her....More
Right in the middle of downtown Windsor is this Worcester Dining Car gem....truly great comfort food including world class meat loaf and a super burger cheeseburger platter to feed a small army...great variety of desserts, if you have room.
This must be what it is like to live in small town America because this step-back-in-time-diner had a local hangout sort of feel. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast: omelette with home fries, bacon and rye toast for her, blueberry pancakes for me....More
What a wonderful and unexpected surprise! I was traveling through VT for work, and took a random highway exit. the sign (generic blue highway sign) said FOOD 5 --> . Ugh. 5 miles....Ok- it was many miles until the next exit. I'll check it out....More

I've been going here for 50 odd years. Always great food and a friendly staff. One of the original Worcester Car Company diners. Lots of history here.
I first visited the Diner 50 years ago and it is still a great place. The staff makes it a very fun place. They have an amazing tradition of customers picking up the check for police officers. We had breakfast with homemade toast.
