I have been going to Henri's for 50 years and always enjoyed my time there. Henri & Bernard do make you feel welcome and I miss my dear friend Jack the bartender. Food is the best Chef Tim outstanding and not to forget Brian as waiter

A delicious Swiss fondue spot perfect for escaping the cold and enjoying some wine and cheese. I wish I could have gone to dinner here but we only had time for lunch. The lunch was not only delicious, but incredibly filling. The owner and proprietor, Henri, greeted us and chatted with us for a bit. Such a nice man. Great... More

Given the reviews, not too impressed by the food. It was okay, but we shall not be returning. Great to see the owner there.

I have been skiing at Sugarbush for years and a friend of mine suggested we walk over to Chez Henri for lunch. I cannot believe this was my first time going! It was worth the walk away from the cafeteria/restaurants on the mountain. It is a small, cozy French restaurant run by Henri, who is now in his 90's! He... More

I didn't have the chance to eat here - I was only there for cocktail hour. The food looked very good and the company I was with enjoyed what they ordered. The bartender was attentive and friendly. The bar is quite small (maybe 5 seats?), but we easily got seats (mid week night). This is one of the only 'walkable'... More

Although Henri has been there forever this was totally not our speed. The restaurant is outdated and not very well kept. The food was mediocre at best...they had a very hard time serving anything warm. However the kindness of the owner himself was very nice and we appreciated our chat with him as you could tell he has worked very... More

That Chez Henri has survived since 1964 is reason enough to check it out. A true throwback to the days of Sugarbush being "Mascara Mountain". The cozy atmosphere is one of a kind. It feels more like you are in the Alps than VT. If you are very lucky, Henri will stop by your table to chat and in our... More

Chez Henri is cozy, tasty, French and the perfect apres ski dinner. Pricey to be sure - and particularly pricey with older kids - but reliably great.

We fell in love with this french bistro, the food was great the wine selection pretty good and Henri is the sweetest man ever, he took our pictures, chatted about food and skiing. We are looking forward to go back

This is a Sugarbush Institution and while it is only open during ski season, its a must visit at least once a season. Its old school in feel bordering on needs a major facelift but the food and roaring fire help to complete the picture. We come here either for the cheese fondue or the burgers or steak frites. My...
