We stopped in the lounge for coffee and apple strudel. We were taken care of by a very pleasant young man named Nick. The service was excellent. The coffee and strudel was delicious. The view was awesome.

Had such a great time at the lounge on a quick business trip to Stowe. The house brews are absolutely amazing (the Vienna being my favorite) and I tried the half chicken which was so delicious I almost ordered a second order. What really made this trip make me want to return was Nick the bartender, you could really see... More

We had a great time and food. Got to listen to the piano and really just relax. Our server Nick gave us great dinner and wine recommendations. The lamb short ribs were to die for.

We ate in the Lounge when the restaurant was fully booked. The menu is a bit more casual but there are some of the same entrees as those offered in the main restaurant. The clam chowder was excellent and the German plate was fantastic! Good service and a wonderful atmosphere.

We decided to have a late supper in the lounge and had some soup and wine. The Von Trapp Wine was better than the soup, but this is a good alternative to the expensive dining room.

We intended to eat in the Trapp Family Lodge dining room but were told it was totally booked the night we were there so we went to the lounge. Looked over the menu several times and there was not a single thing on it that was appealing. After having a $16 glass of beer, (yep you read that right) we... More

The views? Amazing. The food? Substandard and overpriced. Went here with my daughter after the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival to grab a bite to eat in the lounge. Very disappointed with the service and food quality. Spent $50 for an overpriced farm raised grass fed hamburger that was was overcooked (asked for medium grilled and received a well done burger...
