We were so glad we drove a little out of the way to come here. My mother happened to find it on the fly after a not so great day visiting Shelburne with my 7 and 2 year old. We were all hungry! Everyone was so friendly, and we were seated right away (got there right at 5, and I... More

I stopped after work to meet a coworker. Went in and sat on pub side, Moose Pub. It's all one on the inside really. Full of friendly locals. Great service, atmosphere, food and tap. I had the woodchuck cider, ok 2, and the prime rib tips. Fantastic.

The prime rib there is simply the best around! I was lucky enough to visit the kitchen one day in off hours, and it was spotless! Great food, great service, and a very clean kitchen. What more could one ask!

We usually go here a couple of times a year. It has great steaks/etc for the carnivores and a fabulous salad bar for the rest. The salad bar is one of the best. I always do a shrimp/seafood salad course, a regular salad course, eat my main course, then finish with another salad bar course of fruit/cheese/etc for desert. Each... More

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and friends because I heard they had an awesome Prime Rib that went from one edge of the dish to the other. I ordered the largest Prime Rib which was cooked medium well. I am sorry to say that first, the steak did not taste like Prime Rib, it just tasted like... More

This is definitely an old favorite in Middlebury. Seems like it's been around for decades based on the decor and menu. Food generally was pretty decent. Actually a very, very good couple of burgers, a so-so piece of fish and a cold bowl of soup. Salad bar seemed to be a real fixture of the experience for most -- solid... More

We were a large group in for lunch. We had very nice room. The restaurant is fun place to hang out in. The service was good but the delivery of the meals could've been timed better. The food itself was ok - kind of uneven - some good, some not so good. The salad bar did not look good at... More

This restaurant is fantastic. It's really hard to put into words. The decor is incredible. The staff is attentive and inviting. The menu is classic and modern at the same time. Chef Mike is unrivaled. This place is super busy and you wouldn't necessarily know it. There's so much seating and so many rooms. It's easy to have the experience... More

My expectations were high for Fire and Ice after reading all the reviews. However, instead of finding this restaurant to be quaint or cozy, I found it tacky and lacking fabulous food. The salad bar was fine. It would have been nice to have some soups. The bread was dry. The rest was no different than a Ponderosa. I don't... More
