I've come here each time I'm in Middlebury. Cannot figure it out. Who can afford $6.99 artisanal bread on a routine basis and pricey luncheon sandwiches. But then again, if I bring my own container, I can buy great VT maple syrup at a good price. Their cheeses are superb, and local as well as distant, yet the price for... More

I had a decent sandwich here once and otherwise it has been very inconsistent. Today my sandwich was dry, the bread was stale and it needed salt. I buy most of our groceries here and it would be very handy to have it be a great café, but it isn't that good. The soups are better, as is the salad... More

Heard this place was unique and it is! Lots of natural, organic stuff and local local local! Enjoyed just browsing and we even had some delicious bread from Burlington and homemade squash soup! Definitely worth a stop for unique groceries, gifts and lunch!

Nothing too complex here: well made and generously proportioned sandwiches. Salad bar available, usually a few different soups and pizza by the slice. Great for vegetarians, gluten free and carnivores.

We were traveling, so not going to buy groceries. But we walked to this co-op for lunch. They make wonderful sandwiches, and have both regular and gluten-free breads. My husband and friends loved their sandwiches, but I opted for small containers of chicken salad and quinoa salad. Had I been even hungrier (Portions were substantial) there were tempting offerings like... More

We came for sandwiches and supplies along our bike tip, and drove back a few days later because we loved it so much. We think their curried chicken salad wraps may be the best sandwiches we have ever eaten! Nice people, great food!

This shop has an excellent variety of health foods such as Vegan and Gluten Free. It well stocked, and the employees are very helpful. Prices are about average.

This is a neat little co-op in Middlebury with an excellent salad bar, hot bar, sandwich station, and coffee bar. It is a wonderful place to go to for lunch or dinner. We also sourced many of our local foods here: breads, meats, dairy products, along with regular national brands of health foods, bulk items, and personal care. Excellent produce... More

My son and I enjoyed a quick sandwich from their custom sandwich counter. Everything was very fresh and I like that it was organic too!

I recommend that people go here and either grab a lunch to go or sit outside and eat. It's great for picnic food too.
