My wife and I went for lunch and had a delicious bowl of chili and a cheddar soup. The wait person was engaging and could not have been more helpful in selecting our choices. Menu is not over extensive, but very good. Would go back...More

We stopped by this local little breakfast spot for a morning start. The hostess seated us promptly and brought coffee out immediately. Nice menu, but we really didn't need it since we had come specifically for the blueberry pancakes. Our friend who we with has...More

Very good sandwiches and other lunch fare reasonably priced. Not open for dinner. This is a good place to stop for lunch when you are taking a break from the outlet stores.

Best breakfast!! The cinnamon swirl french toast with almond butter was delish. My husband had the All American and was so happy that gluten free toast was available. Very cozy and wonderful waitstaff. We will definitely return when we visit Manchester Vt.

I have to say I didn’t have grand expectations walking in, but the staff were friendly and attentive, and both of our lunches were delicious. I had the Vermont Cheddar and Ham toasted sandwich (had a different name) and my husband had the steak sandwich....More

Quaint spot for lunch. Atopped for lunch while visiting some of the outlets. Home made soups, a "special"board and regular menu. Had to laugh as everything seemed to be priced at $12.95. Food was good but took a while to come from the kitchen and...More

My wife and I go to “the Rooster” as it’s known by locals, 2/3 times per month. Great food. Remember to bring cash as they don’t accept credit cards (a Vermont thing)

Stopped in for brunch with family on way back from a marginal ski day @ Stratton and the food was excellent. So glad we stopped here. Burgers and Mac and cheese ruled the day. Recommend stopping in if you can and it's worth the wait...More

So glad you enjoyed your lunch. Mac and cheese is a great comfort food on a very cold day. Thanks for mentioning the parking and the wait. Hope you will be able to visit Little Rooster Cafe in the future.

Quick service, delicious soup and sandwiches. Cozy and welcoming. Cash only but worth it. Cafe setting but interesting and varied menu....highly recommend. Didn't have an alcoholic beverage but heard patrons raving about bloody Mary's.....

It's often hard to choose between the daily special and the excellent regular menu items. My wife and I will often have a hard time choosing two items to split. Service is friendly, and the food is always good.
