The waitstaff was very friendly, knowledgeable and excited to tell you about the food and chef. Atmosphere was very homey and welcoming, as expected for a quaint restaurant with 6 tables and a small bar; easily able to have a conversation at your table. My...More

The food was amazing. I had lamb chops which were very tasty and presented well. The onion soup, my wife had, was amazing. Portions are large. The wine selection is really good and really reasonably priced. Be warned the place is small and popular so...More

With this just our second visit over the span of a few years, we found The Silver Fork a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. Its small dining room/bar area is great to enjoy a quiet dinner. The menu is very diverse and unique. The...More

Impeccable personalized service with perfectly executed dishes. The quality of service is an essential element of any fantastic dining experience and Silver Fork delivers on this. While the restaurant is a bit more eclectic than I prefer (my palate couldn't pick a direction!), there were...More

At the risk of everyone finding out what a great little place the Silver Fork is -- I have to believe this is one of the best restaurants in the whole Northshire. We stopped in here the other night after finding our other options closed...More

Call for reservations as it is a very small restaurant. Staff is wonderful and will recommend their dinner specials. Food is superb. The schnitzel and fila wrapped salmon was excellent. Make reservations and don't be disappointed.

I probably don't need to pile on here but our experience last night was excellent. Service and food were perfect. I'd recommend the shiitake, date and goat cheese appetizer and was blown away by the Chicken Chicharrones. The Maple duck breast was fantastic once we...More

But first make a reservation as there are only six tables in this charming space. Take a look at the menu posted on their web site and I think you will agree that it is hard to classify the type of food that is so...More

Even if the food, were average I would feel badly about giving it less than five stars because our server, Melody, was beyond outstanding. She was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, warm, generous, attentive and whatever else you might desire in a server. She is also the...More

They are incredibly busy and book weeks/sometimes months in advance. Get on the phone to talk to them :>)
Is this restaurant child friendly? It sounds marvelous!

Unfortunately, I didn't think it would be appropriate for children. It's a very small, intimate restaurant.

Three questions: 1. Are reservations required and is it hard for one person? 2. What is the dress code (jeans and nice pullover shirt). 3. What is approximate cost per meal?

Reservations are definitely a must. A couple of days in advance as it is very small. Prices are moderate but it depends how much wine you drink and how much you want to pay. Dress is your option. It's a nice place and... More
