I have not been to Birch Ridge Inn for almost 10 years as I was very disappointed in the food. Heard there is a new chef and other reviews were good, so it was time to give them another try. The atmosphere is very nice, almost formal, but you can go casually dressed. Good quiet date place where the adventure... More

Limited menu but excellent quality food and great services. Good wine list - Bill is knowledgeable and pleased to advise if you ask. Not sure they can accommodate fussy children

The restaurant is tucked away in a side road so make sure you look for the sign. You will drive up a covered drive way and there is plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant. As you walk in there is a little table on the right to check in and the dinner room is on the right... More

You climb a steep roadway that let's you decide if you want to enter through the covered bridge or, if your vehicle is too tall, the road around. Upon entering you will be greeted by Bill who will take your coats and seat you in the dining room. The dining room is lighted just enough and each table has an... More

New chef Craig Cornell has put together a menu of inventive flavors and excellent choices. We enjoyed every course during two meals. Things were cooked to perfection and the meal was well served and paced. We wish it was more local to us as we would try everything on the menu.

The duck, eat the duck. A dish you will certainly finish. The serving portions are the size of what an Average-earthlink-regular-human being should eat. Do not expect to have left overs for the next day. You are paying for quality not size. exquisite

Living in town, we eat here on occasion, the occasion this time being Killington Restaurant Week to take advantage of the special pricing for select dishes. With the dining room full last night, we ate at the bar and enjoyed excellent food, great service, and catching up with old friends. Birch Ridge is clearly the best restaurant on the Killington... During a recent stay here, we dined in the restaurant one night and enjoyed our exclusive evening of personal service by our friendly, attentive waitress and the excellent chef, as we were the only patrons on that Tuesday night. Nothing was left out, from a nice table setting to timely presentation of the food. My husband's steak and my generous... More

My husband and I ate here on July 23rd. Because it is summer, we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves. The waitress was right on point. the food was phenomenal. We each started with a salad...I had the wilted spinach salad and Steve had the Caesar. For dinner, I had the veal marsala and he had the NY strip,... More

Dining room intimate and serene. Server (Asia) skilled, unhurried but attentive. Spinach salad, a generous portion, perfectly warm and fresh (how they do this in mid-winter I don't know). Neither it nor the rest of the meal was overly salted. My mother's rack of lamb was cooked to pink perfection, beautifully presented and large enough to take half home. My... More
