Italian restaurant. With every meal they serve delicious hot crusty bread with a whole roasted garlic bunch to crush and spread on the bread. Salad was good too, and the chocolate lava cake was very good. Menu is small. I had linguine puttanesca, their signature dish, it was a little lumpy, spicy, and a little salty, just as it should... This is a great spot, but it's much better in the bar area. The 2 bartenders are great with the service, offer up a pretty good beverage, and the tapas is really great. During the winter it can get a bit crowded, but the tables turn over pretty fast. The seating area there is also family friendly, sitting at high... More

In our humble opinion, The Garlic is BEST restaurant in Killington!!!! The bar area is very eclectic with excellent choices of Tapas and drinks. To be honest, I'd come here just for the fresh bread and roasted garlic that is served with dinner. Outstanding! We enjoyed the place so much that we experienced dinner twice during our five night stay.... More

Killington in Vermont is not a hopping place and many of the restaurants were closed until ski season. We had a delightful meal at Garlic, however. Try their house puttanesca sauce. It was delicious and portions were large enough for leftovers the next day. The meal starts with very good break and roasted garlic spread. Nice atmosphere too.

We went for a light dinner as they have a Tapas bar--very, very good. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the bartender and other patrons--found out on Thursday during the summer ALL the entrees are $13.00--looked around and saw that those entrees were full size and looked marvelous--wish I had had a bigger appetite.

A great choice if you are in the area. The moment we walked in, the smell made your mouth water. Its a tad dark in the dining room so it's great for a romantic dinner. We stopped in for drinks and Tapas. We were not disappointed. Both were excellent, but be aware that tapas is only available in the bar.... More

Good service, but the food was nothing to write home about. We originally wanted tapas but realized only after having been seated that they only serve them at the bar. Not their mistake, but good to know. Also wouldn't want to sit in the dark room again.

This steakhouse is a bit dark, but cosy; the waitress was very helpful and recommended us a very good local beer. Food is very well cooked and service is quick. Unusual but delicious the bread and smashed garlic as appetizer!

We ate dinner here one evening this week. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is dark and rustic, but the food -- absolutely delicious! They start you off with bread to dip into a whole head of roasted garlic that they smash and season lightly with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We had the Clams Bianco for an... More
