This is a great little diner on the main road in Castleton. We were in town for a basketball tournament and descended upon this little place with our whole team and parents. Thankfully we timed it right and we all fit in the little room on the end of the diner. The waitresses were awesome and handled the chaos like... More

After a couple dozen ham & cheese omelettes you'd think I'd try something else. Wrong. Big & fluffy with no hide like a basketball, lots of greasy home fries, and tasty sour-dough toast. A can barely finish my wife's!

I was travelling on business and stopped in for a quick bite to eat. As it was just before Christmas, the place had a wonderful festive atmosphere, and the food was good. As a lone diner I felt comfortable and even lingered awhile.

I had fried haddock which was nice and fresh and nicely done. The service was a little haphazard, but overall it was a nice dinner.

Had lunch here today. Two cheese burgers and fries. Everything was hot, service was quick. Homemade onion rings could have been fried longer. Overall, it hit the spot!

This renovated '40s diner was fun. Stopped for a late dinner on way to our hotel and ended up having a great breakfast of corned beef hash and eggs, pancakes, etc. Ordered way too much so didn't get to try any of the diner classic cream pies. Would definitely go again.

Excellent food at a fair price!! Clean, friendly and upbeat atmosphere. Like to hang with university students? This place has them! Enjoy!

Have eaten here in the past while visiting local relatives. Normally, as with this visit, we stopped for breakfast. We ordered omelettes and french toast with coffee, sausage/bacon. Although we did not complain to ownership, not really a justified reason to do so, there was just something amiss in the service and the preparation/presentation of our selections. All items were... Worst experience at a restaurant as an avid traveler and foodie. I’m a local and supportive customer that has had good meals in the past at Birdseye but this morning has caused me to never want to go back again. Although the service was quite slow to start that wasn’t the main issue. My friend ordered eggs benny with hard... More
