My husband and I were fortunate enough to eat breakfast at the Penny Cluse both mornings of a weekend visit to Burlington. You can tell this place is an institution. People will happily line up and wait up to 30-60 minutes for a table and...More

Another restaurant people in Burlington recommend is Penny Cluse. We tried to come here a couple of times, but each time the wait was very long. There was finally no wait on Monday at 12p but even then it was still crowded. The food is...More

Penny Cluse Cafe is a very cute breakfast place about a block from church street. It seems to be a restaurant that was built in an old house. There is two floors with the main floor being where the bulk of the seating is located....More

My second time here visiting from out of state. Breakfast is delicious, homemade and served hot. Alot of different things, black beans, andoille sausage. Reasonably priced but always crowded so you may have to wait a few minutes.

Wonderful breakfast food! We arrived on a Saturday morning right after the cafe opened (5 minutes, maybe) and were lucky to get the final 3 seats available at the counter. Folks who arrived after us had to wait at least 30-45 minutes to be seated...More

The gingerbread pancakes were delicious! Hubby enjoyed his bacon & eggs and the home fries are tasty too. Good tea selection if you don’t/drink want coffee.
