Needed something to eat and one last drink before walking back to where we were staying, they had a open table outside so we went in. We told our serve we were only gonna have a snack and one drink and he was happy to...More

After wandering around Church Street and realizing we were starving our family decided to give Sweetwaters a try after glancing at the menu. We decided to only have entrees, no apps as we were in a bit of a hurry. On our waitresses suggestion I...More

This was my third or fourth visit to Sweetwaters. We were hungry and searching for a really good restaurant in the area. We walked to Revolution Kitchen and didn't think the menu would appeal to all of us. We were tired of looking and decided...More

We called to make a reservation because we didn't want to miss the chance to eat at this restaurant after reading reviews and checking their website. Sooooo disappointing! This may be only the second time I've given such a negative review, I rely on reviews,...More

Food and service were good but it was typical bar/pub atmosphere. The building was pretty cool. Looked like an old bank inside. With decent weather, people were eating outside and they had the doors propped open. We had to fight off flies the whole time....More

In a busy shopping area with several cafes to choose from this is a decent choice. Seating is comfortable. There are a couple of tvs in the bar area. They have local craft beers on tap. The menu is much better than other places with...More

There are so many options for dinner when wandering around the Church Street Marketplace. We sort of randomly chose this one, to be honest, but it was a good meal. We each ordered a filet--mine had caramelized onions and gorgonzola cheese sauce on it and...More

We all had the pulled pork sandwich and three of the four believed that it was the best pulled pork that they had every had. The service was slow and the server completed her job without much personality. In all fairness, it was quite busy...More

So glad that you enjoyed the pulled pork, it's always been outstanding but our new smoker is taking it to all new heights! And yes, the tables do get very sticky in the humidity, I assure you it was clean. I am sorry to hear...More

We’ve gone here three times in the past week of our vacation—once for lunch, once for family dinner and once for drinks. Everything was delicious with good portion sizes.

Description
Sweetwaters is an American Bistro with an unique twist on your favorite eats. For over 30 years, we've been serving fantastic cuisine with local ingredients in a family-friendly atmosphere in the heart of Burlington, on the corner of College and Church Streets on the charming Church Street Marketplace. Architecturally interesting, Sweetwaters is housed in what was the original site of the Burlington Trust Company. Built in the 1880s, the building retains its original mouldings, cornerstone, clock and architectural appointments. With a full bar, extensive menu, unique interior, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, Sweetwaters certainly has something for everybody. We serve lunch and dinner daily, with a late night menu for all you night owls out there.
