Delicious, tasty food - one of us had fish and chips which were perfect, the other had chicken Caesar salad and was able to pinch a few chips from the other as they were so plentiful. Our server Matt was excellent, so attentive and polite...More

Stopped in for a snack at the bar and our order hit the spot! The poutine was flavorful, hot, and cheesy and the nachos, while not really anything special, were also hot and full of flavor. I would go back for lunch or dinner.

We went to Sweetwaters hungry and ready for a nice relaxing meal accompanied by our Golden Retriever who competed in the Iron Dog that day. To our pleasant surprise we were welcomed to a lovely outdoor seating area and he was given his own bowl...More

The food was good but the ambiance was very good. Many restaurants on Church Street but Sweetwaters has been there forever. It is typically Church Street cool.

Ee always come here for the mussles served with fries on top. However we would love it if they served a baguette with it..the sauce is wonderful and I hate leaving some behind.

Good food and service. Nice architecture. Large seating capacity if other restaurants are booked. Menu limited.

It’s seasonal, but management has done nothing to curtail flies in restaurant. Wait till they clear.

It’s a great standby. My sons and their roommates have loved it over the years. I wish they had a more robust menu. Service is good and we love the inside and outside dining spaces.

Sweetwaters is an American Bistro with an unique twist on your favorite eats. For over 30 years, we've been serving fantastic cuisine with local ingredients in a family-friendly atmosphere in the heart of Burlington, on the corner of College and Church Streets on the charming Church Street Marketplace. Architecturally interesting, Sweetwaters is housed in what was the original site of the Burlington Trust Company. Built in the 1880s, the building retains its original mouldings, cornerstone, clock and architectural appointments. With a full bar, extensive menu, unique interior, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, Sweetwaters certainly has something for everybody. We serve lunch and dinner daily, with a late night menu for all you night owls out there.
