Dining out in Burlington, VT is expensive, but at least here the food was excellent and the service was, also. I had a full sized Kale and Arugula Salad that was excellent and the other three in our party had burgers and loved them.

We went to The Farmhouse upon a suggestion of a friend of ours who lived in Burlington for a few years. It did not disappoint, so we have been back many times. The cheeses are local and tasty, the burgers are savory with excellent toppings and the specials do not disappoint. The caveat is that you can often wait quite... More

We stopped here for lunch based on reviews and with all the choice in Burlington this was a big mistake. The food was very ordinary and not the quality we were expecting. With such a limited menu one would have expected that what they do serve would be outstanding but not so.

After reading all of the great reviews, I had to give this place a try. The ambience was nice, the staff was attentive, and the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the locally raised lamb burger and it was perfect.

My husband and I took our son and his girlfriend out to dinner here on a Sunday around 5:30 pm. It was my husband's and my first time there. In a nutshell, the waitstaff seems to have literally completely forgotten about us. Our food didn't arrive for what seemed Iike an eternity, and no waitstaff bothered to inform us as... More

Had an small early dinner / late lunch here while visiting Burling. It was very tasty! They have a great beer selection and lots of places to sit - a big patio, beer garden and nice interior. We split the onion rings (really, really good!). I also got a tasty kale salad and my boyfriend had the cheddar ale, which... More

Other folks have mentioned the cost of the food. Yes, a little pricey but when you realize you couldn't possibly eat the whole serving size in one sitting, the take home boxes become your friend. Our tables selection included mac and cheese (bacon added as suggested) beg/eggplant burger and chicken with mixed greens salad. Too early for us to drink,... More
