this place is confused. I've seen recommendations & reviews exclaiming, "go here for breakfast!" No, don't. Go here for a snack & a coffee. Go to snaps, the diner in middlebury, or even rosie's for a sit-down morning meal. I went with intentions of getting breakfast on a Sunday with my family. Literally, EVERY table was monopolized by one person... More

We have a daughter at Middlebury and were visiting for Fall Family Weekend! We love Bristol primarily because of Bristol Bakery and Cafe! The blueberry muffins can't be beat. Bagel breakfast sandwiches - yummy. The most delicious breakfast offerings. Charming place! Great service! Nothing is better than sitting at a window table and seeing the activity of Bristol!

We had breakfast here. The sandwiches were super and the bakery was good. Coffee was awesome. Staff was friendly, nice laid back local place.

We were driving through the town and spotted a couple of possible lunch spots. Decided to try this place and were greeted by friendly staff. Food was served quickly and was very good. We sat outside since it was such a nice day, and a woman at the next table struck up a conversation. Such a nice little town.

Stopped in just before closing and selection was slim but what they had was excellent. Wish we would have stopped earlier in the day!

Had hoped to have lunch at Bobcat Cafe, but they were not open until 5 pm. Bakery okay. Turkey panini didn't have much turkey and that it had tasted "old". Iced coffees only okay. Macadamia coffees good; detected a bit of coconut in them. Fellow with bowtie that took our order at the cash register not particularly friendly and seemed... More

Bristol is another charming little Vermont town, we strolled the streets and window shopped; and then stopped into the bakery to take some goodies back to our camper. At least we walked some of it off.....

Excellent selection of coffees, pastries, soups, and sandwiches. Daily specials are worth planning to attend. This place makes soup a meal using fresh local ingredients whenever possible.

This is a local neighborhood cafe, really casual and comfortable, with large windows facing the main street, offering lots of natural light. Think simple and casual salads, soups, tortillas, and sandwiches. The food is tasty and well prepared. Staff is young, but what they lack in experience and professionalism, they make up for with effort and charm. One of us... More

Always delicious and friendly. Good variety of food from fresh made soup to mouthwatering baked goods. Eat all three meals here for really good value.
