I love to try fish dishes when out as that is something I don't regularly cook at home. Was extremely surprised to see blue fish on the menu as a special as that is not a fish one often sees on a menu but a fish I love. Needless to say, I had to try it. I was extremely pleased... More

Two couples celebrating both of the lady's birthdays. An excellent evening of delicious drinks, great food, fine wine, and great service (Leann did a great job taking care of us). All four of us enjoyed the Cod (one of the specials of the evening). The chocolate mouse is to die for.

We hadn't been to Peter Havens since the new owners took over. Our group of four was made up of two brand new patrons, one previous patron, and one old regular with a bar stool placque. From the moment they brought us wine, through the raw oysters and duck pate apps, through the duck and the lamb dinners and 2... More

Yes, it was a great experience to stop by at this restaurant on our way to Burlington. Loved by locals and worth every penny. The food is inventive and well done. Would love to have such quality restaurant in my hometown!

Peter Haven continues to be a great restaurant. This was my/our third time here in about six years. We have been eating here when we stay overnight in Brattleboro. I had dinner last night at the bar. Three courses: Fresh oysters, snails in puff pastry with cream sauce, swordfish with risotto. All dishes were skillfully prepared. Cocktail was well-made. Service... More

I am a road Warrior, traveling often for business, and somewhat of a foodie. So when I get to a new area, I seek out restaurants that bring me pleasure for as many items on my restaurant checklist that can hit the mark. Peter Haven's hits then all. The bar is the place to be for me since I travel... More

We are from 2 hours away, and we were given a gift certificate. So we combined dinner with a stay at a local inn, a glass blowing session and a horse adventure. The innkeeper, the glassblower and the stable owner all told us we would love Peter Haven. We did. The plate presentation was perfect and all of our choices... More

Our group of four had a wonderful dinner at Peter Havens this past summer. The service was attentive without being in your face and the menu is interesting. Everything was prepared to perfection and delicious.

We shared an intimate Valentine's dinner for two at this cozy restaurant. Although the dimly lit area was a shade too dark it was the perfect experience. The entire menu form wine selection thru dessert was amazing. Service was extremely good too!

Peter Havens provides an elegant but relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy chef/owner Zach Corbin's accomplished cuisine. The menu has French and Italian influences (always house-made pasta and gnocchi!) But always has Zach's own culinary flare. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the intimate setting and often enjoy dining at our bar, where we serve innovative and exciting specialty cocktails. Our wine list is eclectic and ever-changing, with an emphasis on natural wines from France, Italy, and the US. Reservations are recommended.
