We visited on a cool night in May so we sat inside. Our waitress was very helpful and we enjoyed tasting the different sauces that were available (have never seen this feature before!). Our food (steak tips/chips and burger/fries) were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The only drawback was the band. It's a rather small space for live music. Once... More

On the most beautiful Spring day of the year (FINALLY) my husband and I went to dinner at the Whetstone Brewery. First, I have to say...you must sit outside. It is absolutely the best way to experience this restaurant. We sat on the amazing patio, overhanging the CT River. Despite the cool breeze, we were perfectly warmed by the large... More

Terrific beers, great selection of cocktails and wine, and the food is wonderful! And there are several different places to sit: on the roof or the porch, inside by the fire, or at the bar. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I was out taking a ride and we drove by and decided to stop because they had outdoor seating. I had the off the rails IPA and it was great. We sat right on the river and watched the geese and their babies swim around until our food came. The cheddar soup is a must have and the chicken sandman... More

We decided to do a brew tour in vermont a few weekends ago. First stop was Whetstone. Tried a flight of beer and decided on getting a coupld of pints. the thought about some food. My husband had a burger which he raved about. I had the mac and cheese with brisket. It was just ok, nothing to write home... More

Okay good, but.... TERRIBLE beers on tap and bottled; mixed drinks are horrendous. Beware the bacon Bloody Mary---it's nothing but horseradish for $10. Gross. I really should have demanded a refund for every drink I ordered because they were inedible.

Excellent food and drink along with a view of the river. We sat at the bar since the dining room had a wait list. Definite stop in the future

What a view from this brewery sitting over the river. Great way to end the day. Good and fun beer selection. Good service. Love the option of small appetizers. We had wings, pierogies, steak chili and a side of veggies. All good. Main entree portions are huge, by the way.

This place is fantastic. The view is great (you can sit right on the river) and the food is incredible. Make sure you get the Station fries--they're the best. The burgers were great too, and the waitstaff was very friendly. It's a bit on the expensive side, but it's definitely worth it.

The beer is great, staff is super awesome and the view is priceless. You won't be disappointed. Shout out to Nancy for being a great bartender- thanks for the recommendations.

Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery combines a large casual restaurant and open air rooftop bier garten, with a small experimental nano-brewery, all located right on the Connecticut River in Vermont. We offer an "inspired pub fare" style menu, with everything from small bites for a few bucks to full entrees. Along with one, always changing unique craft beer of their own they offer dozens of guest craft beers on draft and specialty drinks, all in an amazing waterfront location. The unique round building has been restored into a beautiful fire-lit space with a contemporary and industrial vibe. Indoor and outdoor dining, perched above the river, alongside a steel bridge and nestled between the green mountains make the amazing location a "don't miss" on any visit through Vermont.
