Number 2 rated in Brattleboro for good reasons. But please be advised number 2 restaurants would need a reservation. We sat at bar. We will be back every time we head home from skiing.

Great meals with the exact Mayan local spices. The tres UAH was my favorite with cerdo and all the veggies that would fit on the most wonderful pottery colorful; plates piping hot.. Friendly, warm, colorful and quaint. And the Boca Negra spicy chocolate desert-just the...More

This unpretentious edifice houses the finest Mexican food that I have ever had. We were returning from our vacation in Quebec and we decided to stop in Brattleboro before returning to our work lives. We dropped in without a reservation but were fortunate enough to...More

I don't pretend to be an expert in Mayan cuisine so I can't tell if this is really authentic. However, I really liked how they incorporated information about Mayan cuisine and culture right on the menu. Now for the food, I had the three tacos...More

Authentic Mexican food - fresh ingredients - not your typical "taco" place. Wonderful flavors. Truly a must if you're visiting Brattleboro.

The food is amazing. The outside is not a typical restaurant look but inside is wonderful food and great service. The dishes are interesting and delicious. It is the meal we talk about and remember the most from our visit to Brattleboro.

So fresh, so delicious! It's simple food, done to perfection. Granted, you have to overlook the outside. The empanadas (beef and cheese) are my favorite, the salad, rice and beans top it off.

My first time tasting Mayan Cuisine and it was a good experience. The focus at this family-run restaurant is quality--food is delicious and the service is attentive. Option for outdoor seating was a plus.

They take reservations; seating is limited so I would call sooner rather then later.
