Stopped at the Cowboy Kitchen looking for some decent food and we were very pleasantly greeted with great food and service! This place has great home cooked food and you have to see the French fries to believe them! Everything was great!

Ok first of all I like little discoveries on my travels. This is not a 5 star restaurant. In fact lets just say it doesn't look like much outside. The wait staff all look like a neighbor or something. Nothing prentious. What you get is real ingredient, made from scratch homemade food. It was awesome. Just came in had a... More

They raise their own beef/lamb! They also grow their own potatoes (check out that brick of fries!)!!! Homemade dressings and bread--this place is so good! We sat next to the wood burning stove and enjoyed our dinner! The waitresses was so friendly! We'll be back!

A different hearty soup everyday. Today's was a bean soup that was great. It was unusual and delicious. French fries were great. The hamburger and lambburger mixture was great. The onion burger was flavorful and we'll done. Good place to go.

We were on the road all day, and rolled into town late. Cowboy Kitchen was recommended by TA, so we checked it out. Boy, I bet this place hasn't had an update since the 1960s. Dark and dim with a huge dance floor and those low captain's chairs you can't pull up to a table. The menu is large, and... More

We had the New York and the sirloin dinner steaks. The dinners came with salad, soup, potato, and bread included. The steaks were large and cooked perfectly. The western name matches the atmosphere and the waitress was attentive and efficient. Prices are fair. We recommend this restaurant to all.

Pulled into the parking lot on impulse, cute name but looked pretty average from the outside. Walked in the door and was transported to a Cowboy Heaven - lol - great decor, bug comfy seats and the food.....we had the special soup of the day: lamb stew and chicken and dumplins. Big bowls served within minutes, accompanied by a large... More

Had a nice steak dinner with my travel mates one evening, great steaks, very good service, reasonably priced. Good place if you like your steaks really big :-))

This old cafe hits the spot! Delicious burger and chicken fried steak. Cream gravy was great and so were the shoestring french fries! They raise their own beef and lamb. The lamb sausage was also excellent.

We had a blast, the food was fabulous, and the portions was really amazing. I had the chicken fried steak, yummy! The fries were off the hook!
