This cute little restaurant tucked in the tiny town of Spring City has the BEST carrot cake I have ever had! It is worth the drive. The sandwiches are tasty and the potato salad is great! They aren't open for dinner so plan accordingly.

Home town friendly atmosphere with really good food! Breakfast is my favorite but lunch is great too. Open 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Oh and don't leave without dessert, they are fabulous!

Nice folks, cute environment, wonderful food in a pretty little town surrounded by art galleries, sheep , horses and stunning mountains. The sausage and sourkraut were quite good and the carrot cake can't be beat!

The pretzel rolls and sauerkraut are shipped directly from Germany and are the best I've ever tasted! The owners mix up a pretty tasty cold potato salad too. I will definitely enjoy the two hour drive to dine there again. Artwork by local artists dot the walls and of course I purchased one! A delightful little joint.

I had a German sausage in a pretzel bun. Best sour crout and horseradish combination ever. Super good. Best potato salad in the universe. All the ingredients were finely chopped with fresh dill and bacon.

This was my second visit to Das Cafe. It was just as yummy as my last visit. I had a Ruben sandwich with potato salad and carrot cake. I was so full, I could not finish the cake, but it made a fantastic treat later on! I was told it is family owed and operated! Kudos! I will definitely eat... More
