La Frontera is one of our stand-by's for a decent, Mexican dinner meal. We've been there several times, most recently about a week ago. The first thing you notice when you get there is that it is in the corner of a little strip mall. One in, you'll get seated at a table, or one of their funky booths. Nothing... More

I don't mind eating at a dive if the food is good. Unfortunately this dive also has crummy food. I used to love going there for a child verde burrito or cheese enchilada years ago. La Frontera is just opposite to what it used to be. We had terrible wait service and the price of the food was not worth... More

My husband and I both had the chicken burrito smothered in cheese and Chile Verdi. There is a ton of chicken and the cheese and verdi are sooo good. The place is not too crowded and the service was good.

I am so sad about this place, This used to be my family's choice for quick good tasting Mexican food. But the last time I ordered take out (January) . I was totally disappointed. The Chile Verde was very watery and very little meat. The employees seemed very dis-interested. I had great memories of the place. Won't be going back

Went to the location on Fort Union Blvd tonight. VERY AVERAGE. Worst thing about it was the the odor left in our clothes. They need to clean out their exhaust. AND... NO BEER available. Mexican food without Beer??? NOT be returning.

Got a take out of 2 smothered burritos with cheese and got charged 16 dollars. The chile Verde had no meat and was watery. I grew up with the Tovar family who founded this place and I never thought I would say their recipes were bad, but this location is ran by crooks and very poor cooks! Please avoid this... More

Place was mostly empty, waiter not seen often and no drink refill ever came. lots of choices on the menu. Food was "eh" nothing to brag about. Cheap mexican food, much better places around. Place was a bit dilapidated looking.

Nothing is even remotely authentic about this place! Loooooong wait for food, terrible wait staff & unclean environment. Seriously, the worst food I've ever had!!

I use to love coming here when I was a kid and I was excited to bring my wife here for the first time when we vacationed back in Salt Lake from Europe. The food was microwaved and you could easily see this fact. I ate my food because well I am use to this, but my wife from a... More
