We have always gone here each trip, but for the last couple of years, it has disappointed. At it's prime, it was one of the best restaurants we had ever gone to anywhere in the world. We have had very high expectations, and hope this year they are met again.

Every aspect of my experience was spectacular. We were greeted warmly the moment we entered and asked if we had a preference for seating. We were then given delicious wonton chips and a green curry sauce that was on the verge of addictive. We then shared an appetiser (Kung Pow shrimp) that was a perfect size, tasty and was a... More

I spent almost $400 in this restaurant and we left hungry. The menu sounds good but when the food comes it is like a tasting for a bunch of samples. I ordered an octopus appetizer and I got three little pieces of octopus for $18. All of our entrees was smaller than most restaurants appetizers and the appetizers were more... More

We have been loyal to Wahso for years. We have been loyal through great management, service, food...and not so great management, service and food. We have ignored the reviews. We have overcome food poisoining and just generally crappy food. We endured because, at the end of the day, we always give folks who have served us good food in the... More

The entourage is rich and luxurious, yet as soon as the waiter turned up you realize you're in America where things just have to be loud, big and with a lack of authenticity. The waiter was nice enough however his description of the dishes on the menu were just too perfect. And in fact the results were less then anticipated.... More

Our group of 4 just dined at Wahso, one of our favorite Utah restaurants. Since one member of our party is violently sick, this review is A MUST. I'll begin by stating all our starters were ok....that's it, ok. The appetizers, soups & salads were good but nothing exceptional or what we've come to expect from Wahso. The problems lie... More

My husband is a huge fan of Asian food and this is one of his favorite restaurants on Main Street. The food is delicious and the interior is fabulous. A great place to enjoy an evening out on the town. The little booths make a very romantic setting to get away from the kids for a night :)

A corporate affair to be sure (see bill white group). It's like a person with a marketing degree on LSD designed the space (and maybe the menu). Picture tacky "western" decor plus Buddha statues and Christmas lights. Maybe the Gucci crowd is into this. The food was mediocre to average at best. Service slow.

In an upstairs restaurant that seemed more oriental than traditional American, I had one of the best filet mignon steaks in a very long time. The staff was very curteous and service was very good. My lady friend had a different meal and enjoyed it as well.

Warm finger towels, deep jade table settings, curtain booths, and attentive service call back the Jazz-era Orient. A collection of Asian art befits the artistic offerings that emerge from the grill. Start your evening off with a sake martini shaken table-side, followed by Steamed Pork Buns, Hamachi Tar Tar, or Red and Gold Beet Salad. For entrees, house favorites Miso Black Cod, Roasted Duck Breast, and Marinated New York Steak. Inventive desserts like the Coconut Crème Brulee, a freshly hallowed coconut creatively filled with fresh coconut, served with chocolate dipped macaroons, will temp you to linger.
