Expensive but fun dining experience for our family. Make sure to get a reservation! Basically, you start with a warm plate of raclette cheese and fix up a plate of items to eat with it. Once you've had enough of that, you move to a second station. This one had a soup, salad and a couple of other odd food... More

A friend suggested going here. It is a very different place. There are several large fireplaces where different things are cooked over the fire with another food table nearby, so basically it is a buffet place. The food was good but not great, especially for the $$. the cheese guy was interesting. He stood there so stoically by the fire... More

What a unique and tasty experience! If you are a buffet hater like me...get over yourself and make a reservation! Yes, you should eat VERY light all day and show up hungry for dinner. The signature first course is the raclette. It is a special Swiss cheese that melts fireside onto plates you adorn with jams, bread, mustards, cured meats,... More

As two couples, we visited Fireside Dining (sans kids) on a snowy Thursday night. We were seated by a window in a back room, which I would recommend, as the main area can get very noisy. Other than the oft-mentioned Raclette cheese, they had entrees of roasted duck, pork loin, veal stew, hash browns, etc, etc, etc - Was our... More

Just spent a week in Park City - we stayed in Park City but skied big and little cottonwood canyons. Next time we will just stay in Alta or Snowbird. However, the highlight of staying in Park City was this dinner. We had a large party - 13 including kids and adults. The food was delicious. My favorite was the... More

What a transformation from regular lunch space for skiers to an amazing dinning room. Each of the 4 huge fireplaces has a special meal of Swiss raclette cheese, cured meats, salads, specialty entrees, hearty sides, fire-roasted leg of lamb, fresh baked breads and dessert fondues. Might want to skip breakfast/lunch so you can really enjoy this all you can eat... More

The Empire Lodge is outfitted with food stations: most by fireplaces. Diners start with cheese melted by the heat of the fire, then garnished at another station with prosciutto, pickled onions, etc. Next, another fireplace has prime rib, veal stew , salmon and quail. There are assorted veggies to go with. Delicious. Next, leg of lamb which has been cooked... More

This is a unique format in that the four course meal is served along side each of the many fireplaces. Begin with the warm cheese raclette served with mustards, cured meats, a strawberry jam and more. Move on to the soup and salad area then on to the first fireplace featuring trout, quail and a delicious veal stew. Next was... More
