Look, most people in Utah do not know what authentic Mexican food is like, simply because up until a few years ago, their choices were Taco Bell and Del Taco. Now with the influx of Latinos coming here we have a much better choice. THIS is authentic Mexican food. It is not a fancy or the cleanest restaurant, but it... More

Wonderful food.... Great service..... Relaxed atmosphere!!!! Here for the first time and loved the food. The ingredients were fresh and enormous serving sizes. The beef nachos were a meal for a small army....and with every good thing piled on top! Don't forget the fried ice cream...unbelievable!

I had a taco and Chile Relleno. The meal comes with beans and rice but items may be purchased Ala carte also. The meals run about $10 and a refillable drink is $2. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We've eaten here before and the meals are consistently good. The only problem we've found is it seems noisy if... More

You've got to go. Tamales and beef enchilada, cheesy rice. So good. We had three different players from quesadillas to chili rellño . All of it was outstanding

I went here for a business lunch. A little loud for business, but not terrible. The amount of food I had (including the free chips and salsa) left me taking some home in a box. The taste of the food was great! The service was about average. Nothing to rave about, but acceptable. I will be back here again for... More

This is American Mexican sit down food at its best. They serve giant plates with delicious beans and cheese smothered over everything. All their meals are great, and I especially like the giant burritos. This place has margaritas and beer. Service is usually pretty good. I love the chips and salsa.

Overpriced Mexican food. Service is awful. $9 a meal with NO drink is pathetic. No thank you ever. Renovate your drive thru people! Del taco across the street is better. Sometimes I eat here just to see if it's the same ridiculousness. Which, of course, it is.

We always go here on a weekend, because even though they are very busy, there is never any waiting. Food is hot and delicious and you potions are large enough to take some home. They offer caffeine free diet coke which is a plus.

Recently I was in Orem, Utah and hungry for Mexican food. I saw a place called Mi Ranchito. I was pleasantly surprised with the Mexican food at this restaurant. The place was busy but I was seated and my order taken quickly. The food was hot and very tasty and the price was moderate. I would eat here again!

We were greeted nicely and seated in this pleasant enough mexican establishment. The chips were fresh and the salsa good, but a little hot.

Description
It all started in the kitchen when the Armenta family came to Utah from Guanajuato, Mexico. Mama brought with her the wonderful recipes that have been in the family for generations. A blend of secret ingredients, strict attention to freshness and quality have been the foundation of the tradition of good cooking you will find at Mi Ranchito. It was Papa, though, who had the idea to involve the whole family and create a truly special restaurant. The entire family pitched in and helped in the first Mi Ranchito when it opened in Orem, Utah back in 1983. Manuel and Senorina Armenta eventually shared the responsibility of running Mi Ranchito with their sons and daughters. Each restaurant is under the personal care of a family member, guaranteeing that the family recipes are followed very closely. Today Mi Ranchito it is still a family business; family owned, family operated and family loved.
