If your intent is to go here for a small meal and have some ice cream for dessert order the dessert first. I had the pastrami sandwich first, which is good and not that large, but the banana split was large. Couldn't even finish it. Tried, but it beat me. Pretty good selection of sundaes. There should be pictures to... More

If you love ice cream, you'll love this place. Portions are large. The hot fudge is exceptionally good. The sandwiches and other menu items are good. But it's all about the ice cream.

I have been going to this place now for over 20 years and the quality and portion size is still excellent! I love the icecream and the Caramel sauce is the best ever! The service sometimes is excellent and sometimes slow as you will find at times in most places, but staff is always friendly and engaging. It is still... More

We went for lunch. They took 20 min to get to us. We were the only ones in there. They were more busy talking to each other and joking around. The burgers tasted like they were from the night before.

We all ordered double scoops, we figured that would be the perfect amount since usually anywhere else 2 scoops isn't a ton. Well the photo I attached is a picture of my sisters Ice cream, which is considered a "double-scoop". It was HUGE! We love this place! Really clean and super yummy! A lot of different flavors too choose from,... More

On a recent trip to Salt Lake, my wife and I were looking for a late night/post concert/birthday/anniversary sweet treat. Of course, we turned to Yelp and found Leatherby's Family Creamery. And, luckily for us, it was open until midnight. As we walked up, we were surprised to see it filled with many other late night diners - and we... More

The most amazing ice creams and sundae's. Even if you aren't into sweets, go treat yourself to a giant mountain of amazing ice creams and just have a couple of bites. It's worth the experience! The almond joy one is my absolute favorite.

Leatherby's is the type of place that you go to when you want to let your hair down and bask in all things that are good and creamy. It's always busy, so expect to wait a few minutes to get a table. The staff is amazing. It's a family run business, and you'll feel like family whenever you go. I... More

The Ice cream concoctions you will find here are amazing! They aren't your average sundae. I've cream is homemade, toppings are homemade, and the portion size is HUGE!!! You could easily share with two or more people. They also serve food. Sandwiches, chicken fingers, fries, etc. But the highlight is definitely their ice cream.

It is okay. Not always the cleanest. And a little expensive. You pay mostly for the experience. Fun to do.
