My husband purchased some of their pastries at an event, and then we knew we had to take the road trip out to get more. He's a fan of the apple strudel, and my favorite is the chocolate croissant. Kamas is a bit off of the beaten path, but it's worth the drive out to have some lunch and pick... More

Since emigrating from Austria, Volker has transformed the bread scene in Summit County. You can't buy his bread in stores - you have to come out to Kamas or find it at a local festival. Wide variety - all of it good.

You will love all the varieties of bread choices. Made fresh daily. They also give you spread options to purchase and there some varieties you can only find at Volkers. Stop on your way to your scenic drive to Mirror Lake, or your mountain cabin or outdoor camps.

We have bought Volkers bread at local farmers markets before. I had forgotten that Volker was located in Kamas. When we went to the grocery store, we discovered Volkers bakery. It was around 7:00 p.m. and it was closed. So we returned the next day around 11:00 a.m. and it was open. There was a sign that said Cash only,... More

Stopped in to the bakery on a Tues. afternoon and bought 5-6 loaves of bread. All have been excellent. The man helping us was SO nice too.

Watch where you park the whacko employee will start throwing snowballs at you and your vehicle. What a way to treat your customers. Stay away from this business who wants some one like that making food you eat

Their cranberry walnut, wow. I love their cheese jalapeno bread, but it's all to go. Sometimes they have some good sales and I stock up. Their dipping sauce is fabulous.

We buy the bread at the farmers market and I go there only to get this bread! Asiago cheese is my favorite but they are all amazing! Love, Love, Love their bread.

We were in town for three days and each day we went to the truck displaying the sign for the bakery and on all three days there was nothing for sale. It was a winter month and we assumed they had shorter hours or perhaps limited days they were open. Suggest you call to see if they are open when... More

Produce here in Kamas, this is the only way to buy their goods, unless you are at a farmers market. Pastries were good.
