Came here twice. 1st visit just to eat. Good cheese burger and fries, excellent grilled pork chop, thick, juicy, well seasoned and big. Fast service even in a crowded bar. 1 server with help 2 cooks and a bar back. I was amazed as the kitchen, behind the bar, cranked out an order for 24 with no sweat at all.... More

Ate here last night, and it was so good, we went back again tonight. Service both nights was exceptional, food was tasty, and prices were reasonable! Pork chop and chicken entrees were exceptional, and apple pie finished the evening off nicely.

I've been eating at Ray.'s since the 70s they been going down hill some lately. I remember when the tomato was as big as the burger the lettuce was fresh and leafy. With a hole dill pickle and a large slice of sweet onion.

Ray's Tavern is unique in many ways for Utah. It's not often that you can eat and take your family to a "Tavern," and have a meal and a beer with the kids. The food is great, the waitresses and staff friendly, and the decor is small town and proud celebrating Utah's Olympic bid and river running throughout the nation.... More

This is a deservedly popular spot. We had been complaining there wasn't good food in Green River and my Grand Junction friends all told me to get a burger at Ray's! They were right. It is excellent. The fries are a better choice for a side, compared to the slaw (which is fine, but not really special). The fries taste... More

Stopped by for burgers and beer. Had a tasty meal while looking at all the river runners t-shirts. Fun to enjoy a meal and remember great trips we had down the river.

We keep hearing about the burgers. And they were pretty good. But not anything to rave about. Good beer on tap.

Ray's has been around forever. People travel to Green River to specifically eat at Ray's and enjoy the local color. They have a great selection of beer and mixed drinks. Don't miss out.

Stopped for a late lunch on a rainy Saturday afternoon after a long hike at Fisher Towers. The food was plain and simple, cooked fresh and was washed down with a cold refreshing beer. Service was excellent and friendly. The consensus appears to be that this' "hole in the wall" is an excellent place. I concur. The one point that... More
