Ate here one of the nights we stayed at Slot Canyon Inn. The chef uses the kitchen of the Inn and an outdoor wood oven to prepare the food. As far as we could see, he worked alone except for one server. Three tables in the dining room were taken as well as several tables outside, so they were very... More

She makes about ten different hand crafted ice cream sandwiches herself using an old family recipe for the cookies. If I lived here I'd weigh a ton.

Stopped in here to pick their brains for a few minutes. I forget their names but the apparent husband and wife couple were very helpful in letting us know about different adventures in the area. Bought a sticker... "I See Canyons"

Great gear, best t shirts in Utah, has a little wire cage from which to buy wine. You CANNOT beat it in Escalant.

Amy is so sweet. I came in to try these amazing waffles but they weren't in season yet. I did however have this ice cream waffle sandwich; I fell in love at first bite. This was so friggin good! Amy legendary waffle ice cream sandwich 😍 and the chai tea perfect no sugar needed.

Amie and crew at the cafe are excellent hosts and their service and smiles make any weary traveler happy to have stopped in. I spent multiple days with a group at this business location and it was a joy and a pleasure. The location is easy to find, and they have great spacious outdoor seating and arrangements to enjoy the... More

Fantastic ice cream (choices) between two home made waffle cookies - wow - an unexpected treat. Family recipe on the cookies.

A great place to drop in for a coffee, cookies and/or ice cream. We picked up lattes and cookies before heading out to Burr Trail. Amie is just delightful and full of information. As a treat after an excursion, which shouldn't be missed, we celebrated with ice cream!

Called in on our way to Park City, needed a coffee and tea. Great coffee, but more surprising was the delicious tea, hot, good quality. Rare to find good tea...most drink coffee. Had a waffle each, beautiful and fresh. Also had a welcoming committee from SAM the black Labrador.

During our travels through Utah, we were driving through Escalante on a Sunday. It was lunch time and we were very hungry. Not much appeared to be open on a Sunday in Escalante so we stopped in one of the only open places that we could find....The Trailhead Cafe and Grill. This is a very small place to get lunch....
