My family & I stumbled upon this cafe & trading post after traveling through Monument Valley. Amazingly, they had gluten free options. The food & atmosphere were awesome.

In a small, out-of-the-way town, this restaurant is the only reasonably priced, solid eating choice. It has a fairly standard menu of decent food. Eating there a number of times, I found the servers (many of them Navajo) efficient and friendly, if you cared to engage with them. In the same building as the restaurant is a gift shop with... During the winter season this is the only restaurant open in town. Friendly staff. The food was average with poor quality cuts of meat. Our dinner was over $50 which was expensive based upon the quality.

Surprisingly tasty food for this part of the US, friendly service, open when nothing else seems to be, and the twin rocks provide an excellent background.

This is probably the only restaurant that is open all year-round. We visited in December and it was the only one open. So we ate there twice for breakfast and dinner. Food is OK, they put too much black pepper for my taste but overall OK meal. The blue corn pancakes were one of the favorites for breakfast. The past... More

We stayed at the La Posada Pintada and this was just about the only place to eat, just a short walk away. Nice selection of wine too

It's the only restaurant open year-round for all meals in Bluff, so during our 2-day stay in the area, we ate there twice. We enjoyed the beef stew, pulled pork sandwiches and Navajo tacos.

ate here the night before a raft trip down the san juan. Food was pretty good but the service was very slow and the waitress was not allowed to serve the alcoholic drinks so we had to wait to get them from the Host? Thought that was odd but food was good.

Stopped here for dinner first week in December when many places in Bluff are closed for the winter including the restaurant attached to Desert Rose Inn & Cabins. I had streak. It was cooked right, but thin. But, it's what you should expect. It's not a steak house specializing in steaks and it's not high end gourmet restaurant. It's a... More
