This place rocks. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding, plentiful, and reasonably priced. No wait on a Saturday night. The flan was the best I have ever had (and I have had a lot). This is a must stop for travelers.

My wife and I ate lunch after church and had very enjoyable chicken dishes. Arturo's started in Progreso in Mexico and a few years ago open the present location. Before Mexico began to have some of the troubles they have had recently we would go and eat there, often take friends so they could experience Mexico in a small town... More

We in the Rio Grande Valley all grew up eating at Arturo's over in Mexico, where they were famous for their game dinners, panchos appetizer and their margaritas. Now located in a much safer location, I can say they have made the transition nicely. The food is still great and their entrees offer way more variety than your average Tex-Mex... More

Excellent food. A bit pricey but well worth it I discovered. Margarita was excellent but costly for its size.

First of all...tripadvisor directed to the wrong location apparently they moved and when I called for directions the hostess could not explain how to drive there from old location. Once arrived, pleasantly surprised as very nice setting. A few large groups but server very attentive. Was not very fond of salsa aka runny tomato soup/puree consistency which has a bland... More

In town for a business trip and decide to take my team for dinner. The restaurant had mixed reviews on another site but we decided to try since it was in walking distance from the hotel. I always enjoy visiting border towns for the great food, but this place was not worth the price. average plates were $18 - $25... More

Really great atmosphere. By far the best margaritas on the planet. Fresh squeezed key limes make them perfect. I always eat the fried shrimp. The best. I eat here almost every time I visit the Rio Grande Valley. Great staff. Can't wait to go back.

They moved from our last visit years ago. They have a brand new building right by the highway for easy access. They have a separate bar from the restaurant, the staff still dressed sharp and very friendly. The food is always good, you name it. The only thing we didn't like was the salsa, too much like tomato soup. The... More

We typically go to Arturo's across the border. But we had family down that refuse to cross so we took them here. Seemed really pricey and service took forever. There was a party in the party room and they were everywhere. Food wasn't as good either. We will stick to the Mexico one

For about $43, I had a Topo Chico, Mojito, 1/2 chicken fajitas, avocado salsa and chips. Tons of food. Average TexMex but good.
