I enjoyed the different styles of foods but my wife wasn't impressed. I would suggest you at least try it.

I go here often for a working lunch. I love the salads but my friends often order the pizza. Great service and healthy food.

I love the Blue Onion for the varied menu. While I often order the lunch special (soup or salad and a half sandwich or small pizza) my friends and I will also order the dip sampler and a large pizza to share. The artichoke dip is great! Lots of healthy options and vegetarian options. The flat bread is also a... More

The Blue Onion located on the east side of Weslaco and minutes from Knapp Hospital is a fine reprieve from visits at Knapp Hospital but it also serves as Spa Treatment for your palette. My family stopped by linner...that's right. It was lunch/dinner around 3pm. Our amazing waiter took the drink order. I wanted "fresh coffee". Nope. No fresh coffee... More

For starters, we had in house brewery craft beer, Old Man in the Sea. It is very, very good. I ordered grilled vegetables over Feta salad, except I ordered without the Feta. The quality of the fresh vegetables is incredible. And it is served with strips of grilled flat bread. The homemade balsamic vinaigrette also very delicious. My husband had... More

Love to eat at this place whenever I am in town. Though I keep missing the pork green chili which I've only had the chance to taste once and it was soo delicious, I wanted more. It's a hot seller at this place and goes fast. But there are other great items on the menu that are really good. I... More

This is truly an RGV hidden gem. The menu is fresh, healthy and very flavorful. The salads are plentiful and dressing is always house made. Pizzas--go for a unique topping. Don't order your usual pepperoni....this is gourmet pizza. Try the fajita pizza, the shrimp, or margarita pizza. And always start off with the artichoke dip appetizer it's a must. Bar... More

I came here for a meeting of the Rio Grande Valley Secular Society. I ordered a fajita wrap, which, as the title of the review says, was good, not great. My total bill was $11.14 with tax and I left a $2.00 tip for the server.

Great local place to grab a handmade pizza or healthy salad. Really good selection of craft and microbrews plus a bartender that knows all about them. The fajita salad and the chicken pesto pizza are our favorite... but then there are the nachos suizas or the lunch special (available at night if you ask).
