Took mom for lunch. She got chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and grilled squash. Steak was good but coating had a raw flour taste. Good zucchini. I had the buffet. I love liver and onions but there was a strange flavor to this. Fried Ouran guisado and squash was good. Wish I had tried the baked chicken and meatloaf... More

We stayed at a local hotel and asked the girl at the front desk where there was a good place to eat in Uvalde. She was struggling so I asked her where she would go out to eat. Her response; when we go out to eat, we go out of town. Well, there isn't much to choose from in Uvalde.... More

We visited for Thanksgiving and stopped by for late night eats on Saturday. The food was great. We try to eat there at least once when we are in town.

We were here for a late breakfast on a Thursday morning. Only 5 tables with people . Our food was good but the servers take the attitude of if they don't look at you you're not here. They are nice enough when you run them down but they are too busy talking to each other and friends to notice.

Our family of four went for breakfast at the urging of two of the desk clerks at the Holiday Inn. One of us ordered pancakes - they were inedible because they were severely burnt on the bottom (but burnt side was down when brought to the table). One of us ordered Migas, which were inedible because they were crispy and... More

I had the Huevos Rancheros - sauce was great--- they forgot the corn tortillas under the eggs, but good anyway. Hubby had the Omelet with chicken, zucchini, tomatoes, etc., and avocado!!!. Mom had the American breakfast: two pancakes, two eggs, and bacon. She complained that it was "too much food", but left her plate empty. Hadn't been here in a... More

I believe the last time I ate there was almost a year ago. I have tried both the breakfast buffet which is only on weekends & the daily buffet, every day they seem to have a little something different. The food & quality appears to be fine. Even if some the foods a little greasy. The breakfast buffet is my... More
