Visited with my Vietnam buddy and we really enjoyed this place...he says they have updated the interior which I think is nicely done! The food was served as ordered and the service was friendly. The hash browns are awesome 👏! They have a smoking area that you can sit in if you choose with good ventilation.

Coming back from a fishing trip found this place open. A true DDD type place with the only down side they have smoking in the back but you can still smell it. Now to the good service very friendly I had an omelet which was just the right size not to much hash brown cooked with the right amount of... More

Had theri 2x4 breakfast, Typical loaded small town dinner, 2 egges, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and hasbrown. Real good, but what made it great was the staff, Great service, houmors, and the whole atmosphere is exactly what I love about small town dinners. Kitchen is right up front and clean, bathrooms were clean, even some houmor in the mens room, you... More

We were driving through town and wanted some local breakfast. As it was right after the July 4th holiday, many places were closed. But we were in luck... Metro Diner was open. I had the short stack - really tasty pancakes. Kids had breakfast tacos and cinnamon rolls. All were very good. Hubs had Hobo Plate, which was good as... More

Passing through town right off the interstate you will find a great little local Mom and Pop style diner. Yes they allow smoking, but it's in a separate room and didn't bother me so much. How intolerant have we become over the years. The food was outstanding! They happily made me a cheeseburger with and egg on top. The fries... More

The food was great and I loved the old dinner atmosphere. They do have a smoking section that isn't enclosed l, but it reminds me of growing up when there was no such thing as a smoking section people just smoked wherever. The service is fast and very nice. I eat here every time I'm in town.

Ok, the waitress did not mean to dump my ice tea on me. She was very apologetic. And the food was ok. But we will not be back ever until they stop allowing smoking in this small diner! It has permeated everything.

The food is dinner average and the service is friendly and fast. They have a smoking area (room) but the smell permeates the entire restaurant. If you are a non smoker, pregnant or with children I do not recommend this place.

We were told this diner had great blue-plate diner food, but we were very disappointed. The food was edible, but not good. The waitress was friendly and attentive, but the food was just so-so. The pie was the best part of the meal-excellent pie, but we haven't been back.
