Their deep fried avacado is excellent - they fill a half avacado with shrimp, chicken or steak then make a mozzarella cheese ball around them. They baste it and deep fry it. It is served with salsa on top. It is most excellent...

Good Mexican food. Large venue that can seat parties. Bar and restaurant. Try the carne asada. They have breaded shrimp, not on the menu just ask.

We went to Cafe Adobe for dinner. We ordered several dishes but one did not taste good. In fact the dish tasted spoiled. I only took 2 bites of it. I made a request to see the manager, David, who never came to the table. And the waitress, Imani, stated the manager would not take the dish off the bill.... More

Years ago I gave this place a bad review. I am happy to report they have improved considerably. New decor and the food is better. They still can't spell. Avocado is spelled 3 different ways on the menu. Still tasted good though. Give them another try,

Stopped for a quick dinner that turned out to be not so quick. We waited forever to be seated before another guest told us to seat ourselves. When we did, a waiter came and took out drink order, got us some menus and disappeared. Another waiter waited on us but he seemed irritated he was having to bother with us.... More

This is usually one of our favorite Mexican spots while visiting the Sugarland location. However, on tonight's visit, the tortilla chips tasted of old burnt grease, the rice was not fresh, (also tasted like old grease) and the food was served on hot plates, but was not served at the correct temperatures. Cold... I was very disappointed. The waiter was... More

This restaurant is stunning. Large, high ceilings and a fire and water feature greet you as you walk in. Beyond that, it's fairly average. The 2 salsas that came with free pre-dinner chips were ok. Red was average, green (tomatillo?) Was flavorful but not spicy. My fish tacos were good. Grilled spicy tilapia, but lacking something. I added the green... More

We arrived for a late dinner and most of the evening crowd had dispersed. I ordered an Adobe dinner and the cold plate arrived first. The cheese was dripping off the tostada and it was finger licking good. The beef taco was tasty, but the guacamole had a strange taste. The hot plate arrived it was excellent. Chili sauce on...
