Really great and huge pizzas, be careful we got suckered in by the get large pizzas for an extra couple of dollars, they were huge and we took most of it away. Sausage pepperoni and meatball pie really good Pizzas. The staff really really friendly and we had a good bit of friendly banter during our meal. Love the theme... More

Reviews need to be in latest review order as the first post from 2008 is NOT the Coal Vines we go to frequently! Great atmosphere , music & pizza! The Wednesday special (buy a bottle of wine & get a free pizza) is a deal!

Great ambiance and food. Service is spot on always checking on you without interrupting. Our waitress this evening was called Rosa; very attentive and offered great choices. We selected Chicken and Sole Piccatta with a nice select wine of the house. Prices are reasonable.

Wheel we lived in Grapevine we discovered Coal Vines and lived to sit at a the bar on a Friday night and meet new people while catching up with bar tender. Now when we are in town we like to bring local friends there to introduce them to one if the best wood fire pizza places around!

The pizza is excellent with a wide range of toppings. They have weekly specials which makes it a reasonable place to go. Great wine selection, and on Wednesday nights buy a bottle of wine and get a free large pizza.

Coal Vines was early in the wood fired pizza category, I don't know if you'd call it the best, but it's amount the best. Again most pizza places are like or not based on your personal preference with what a pie should be. Sloppy...cheesy....thick...thin.. all are good differently. CV is as much a nice wine bar, bistro feeling small plate... More

Nice pizza and wine bar in Southlake town square. Dropped in a couple days before Xmas without reservations and ended up waiting about 25 minutes for a table - so make an appointment ahead of time (although I don't know if it is always this busy) They had quite a decent list of wine options as well as appetizers and... Coal Vines is one of our favorite pizza places. We normally go for their Wed special (Buy a bottle of wine, get a free pizza), but it's also a nice place to drop in to have a glass of wine and split a desert. Their non-pizza items are excellent as well; my wife loves their spinach salad. The staff is... More
